Speakers’ Corner will be taking another week’s hiatus before returning next Monday. Meanwhile on Wednesday I – and a Fox Soccer Report crew (new name for the show as of January 8) – will be heading to Indianapolis to attend the National Soccer Coaches Association of America annual convention. Now entering a seventh decade the five day event is mammoth in both scale and scope.
The participants and sessions are to numerous to list here but suffice to say presenters are traveling from all over the world in order to take part. Legendary German coach Dettmar Cramer who has influenced coaching education around the global during his career will be there as will psychologist Bill Beswick.
Fox Soccer Channel will be broadcasting a two hour live show from the convention on Thursday evening. The show is "Center Circle at the NSCAA Convention" and the focus is on the future of U.S. soccer. Major League Soccer (MLS) Commissioner Don Garber is a confirmed guest and others will join him on the show.
This is your opportunity to pose questions that might be used as part of the two hour show. Just post the question you would like to ask of the Commissioner or other members of the panel and we will select some that might be used on the broadcast.
