...is misfiring. Zidane has yet to make an impact. Ribery on the left side is right footed and continually checks inside in order to get the ball on his strong foot.
Up front Henry has had one run and that has been about it. Is Wiltord playing?
A golden chance for Ribery but he opts out and passes to Henry. Henry is caught on the back foot and the shot is weak - the ball hits a Swiss hand but the referee - correctly - waves play on.
France has settled into the game quickly while the Swiss are on the backfoot. Frank Ribery has been very prominent in the first 15 minutes. The good news for France is that Jean-Alain Boumsong isn't on the park.
France makes a mess of their marking at a free kick, Switzerland hits the post and Frei can't reposition himself to get the ball down and it goes over. Irt was onother of these right footed free kicks from the left hand side.
