Jarrow Roofing Boldon Community Association were involved in an absolutely cracker on Saturday when they came back from 3-0 down after only 10 minutes to beat Thackley FC 5-4. The match report can be found here.
Jarrow Roofing Boldon C.A. now play away against Fleetwood Town in the FA First Round Qualifying on September 16 - not to be confused with the First Round that doesn't take place until November 11. There are four qualifying rounds before we get to the first round proper.
Sorry Bobby. this is off topic, but i have a question:
If I type in www.FoxSportsWorld.com, how in the world do I get to your blog? I can see no link that leads to your blog.
Even when I click your picture, It takes me to topic of the week!
when I click search blogs, I am taken to a list of different NFL, NASCAR, etc blogs when I thought I was browsing Football (soccer) website...
Your link might be available somewhere, but it's surely hidden... I just think since you are the main commentator on FSC, the link should be obvious to find!.
By the way, I found your blog again, after finding Nick Webster's, who has you as his favorite blogger... It was much easier to find your blog during the WC. though!
You're not trying to inflate the value of Jarrow Roofing Boldon C.A. are you, so you can take over the club with your millions?! ;)
Seriously, though, this is what the FA Cup is all about. Small teams with a hope and a prayer, knowing that they're only several matches away from playing a giant club. It's one of the few fairytales of football that we have left.
You were right. Insanely, they actually publish this stuff. Visitors to JR website in August: 768 - attendance in JR "stadium": 57 (presumably that was the ground capacity!)
(Obviously, I'm waiting for return of EPL on Saturday ... A. Cole and W. Bridge (LB+LW) to get a little time on the pitch togther, maybe... what do you think?)

I am the soccer analyst for the Fox Soccer Report and appear twice a week - every Monday and Friday at 10:00 EST. Over the last twenty years I have contributed to various radio and television programs throughout North America as well writing about the game for newspapers, magazines and websites.
Thank you to all who take time to visit this blog and especially to those of you who post your comments and thoughts.
PS - If you have questions please post them on the regular Monday blog. I am unable to answer e mails posted to the inbox on this site.
And one more thing. If you have questions or complaints or compliments about programming please contact Fox Soccer Channel or Fox Sports World Canada directly. I have no control over what the stations televise.
