Van Bommel should've scored and then is carded for a little clip at Cristiano's heal, silly yellow card, the ref should start the game with at least a warning.
Bobby, what would be the best result for England here? Of course we'd like extra time and then someone going home after penalties!
I'm with you on Portugal, but Robben is such a force in this tournament.
Love the talent on the field. The ref is throwing out yellow cards so far - 2 for hacking C. Ronaldo; al of them for slowing down attacking play. I like the decisions this ref is making so far.
Okay---I have to ask somebody. That Adidas commercial that plays absolutely non-stop...
What is the guy singing? "If you don't give my football back, I'm gonna get my bet on you"?
I thought the commercial was neat at first, but after the first 1500 viewings I had to mute the TV whenever it comes on before I "Barf It Like Beckham".
So guys, help me with this.....is this game, and are these teams, really playing any better than England?
Really? I mean I'm watching a star-studded game with some of the best players in the world, and it's a snoozefest. The goal was good, but otherwise its another typical world cup game with long periods of boring midfield passing and fouls all over the place.
England will not fear either of these teams.
I can see Holland scoring one if they'll just take their shots on the edge of the box, they keep passing the ball off or holding it too long.
please bobby don't take eric wynalda's opinions as being that of the typical american fan. all the analysts on espn's crew are horrible. with the exception of harkes, foudy, and of course, allen hopkins. bobby, 'ticket to germany' is my favorite show on tv and trust me when i say that i am your biggest fan. i make everyone in the room be quiet when you speak. how did you come to know so much about football
