The first rule of holes...
Jun 14, 2006 | 7:14AM | report this

when you are in one, stop digging. The Ukraine has chosen to order a new supply of ####s.

Vashchuk is sent off for "fouling" Torres and Villa scores from the penalty spot - the first penalty of the touranment.

Villa has joined the club of double scorers and this one might get worse for the Ukraine.

Aragones decides to save Villa as he swaps him for Raul.

Looks like te coach is trying to provide Raul with a "sympathy" goal.

Alonso off and defensive midfielder Albelda is on.

By far the worst refereeing decision of the cup. Torres was not even touched.

I think ESPN just compared Ukrainian football to Wales.

Population 47 million v. Population 3 million

Dynamo Kiev v. Total Network Solutions

At least the red card didn't decide the game.
