LET THE WHINING AND SPINNING BEGIN EARLY! I was wrong. dead balls wrong!
I said open up the BC contacts and media floodgates when we got to the ACCCG, but keeping your yap shut and keep winning, well that is now a real bad strategy because the BCS is so ####with SOS.
The Notre Dame 8Pers, or as we know them at Boston College, the Pablum Puking PrimaDonna Panglossian Pollyanna Pathetic Pussie Pricks, or as we also know them, our safety school, is hitting the poll voters and media hard and early.
Why, 4 cupcakes to go for the Irish, and a 1 game season, ND wants to make the only game it has any chance of losing, versus USC, some monumental event to propel them into the BCS National Title Game. That is sad!
Time for Flutie, Ryan, Yawkey, Visser, to start saying hey, look at the teams BC has beaten compared to the Irish and remember the Irish got torched like Dresden by the Wolverines!!!
I have to give Weis and ND credit, they got balls, AND BRAINS!!!
They have a cream cheese schedule left and 1 game left to win at USC and they want to be the number 2 BCS Poll team, or the team with 1 loss ranked second, over all the rest, with brutal and stronger schedules!
Time to let loose some BC PR blitzes.
I was wrong. You have to talk the talk BEFORE, and the win later because ND knew it could mouth off with Navy, UNC, Air Force, Army and then USC.
BC has Wake Forest, Maryland, Miami, and a possible ACCCG match-up!
I tell you one thing, Notre Dame went over its strategy before CW opened his big fat mouth since ND decided to do a little pre-emptive strike on the pollsters and computers knowing ND will or should drop with the next 4 cream filled cupcakes.
ND has beaten no one really tough, just some solid teams in GT, MSU, PSU and UCLA, 3 of which are down from last year and unranked.
To me, ND is brilliant!
This article shows ND knows how to play the game with a weak schedule and make the USC game more than just a great win!
Gotta give the Domers credit. Brilliant strategy and most of the media lemmings think like idiots anyway.
Time and time again, I amaze even myself with my humble genius.
I hope Navy upsets them, just to hear the whining cease!
BC has 26.5K in applications for 2.2K in slots or better than most Ivy league schools, so I wonder why ND calls us their safety school?
I hope USC drills them, but USC has games left where they could lose a few, and Notre Dame has just USC? The Irish are a bunch of big baby whiners.
No wonder why BC has beaten them 4 in a row.
If anyone should be complaining its BC!
We beat Clemson -- BYU and CMU are conference leaders -- and Clemson, VT, FSU, Miami were pre-season Top 20 ranked and Wake Forest will be ranked, so might Maryland and Miami, and BC has a ACC title match if we run the table.
BC might have to beat Miami 2X in 10 days if Miami beats GT and VT in the other division, just to get to the BCS.
The Irish schedule in future years only gets weaker, so you wll hear big Charlie whining more and more in years to come!
You do not see BC whining?
If BC did not get Hail Mary'ed, and was 7-0, I would not be posting, but since the 8P'ers started to whine, here is your just rewards!
If BC goes 12-1, they should be going to the National Title Game way before Notre Dame and many other 1 loss schools, including 2 undefeated teams, one of the 1 game season West Virginia Mountaineers, and Lousiville with a 2 game season if they are undefeated too! Both Big East teams with weak #### schedules.
Now that is real facts kids.
The bracketed number is possible big game losses left.
The bolded teams are the ranking of the teams that that team lost to:

Weis questions why Notre Dame is slipping in polls, poor Baby!
SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- Charlie Weis isn't sure Notre Dame is a top 10-caliber team.
"One of the teams [Tennessee] that jumped us had the same game that we had. Another team [Florida] that jumped us wasn't even playing. They were home eating cheeseburgers and they end up jumping us. That befuddles me." -- Charlie Weis He's convinced, though, the 11th-ranked Fighting Irish didn't deserve to be jumped in the polls and the Bowl Championship Series Standings after a last-minute win over UCLA.
"One of the teams [Tennessee] that jumped us had the same game that we had. They're down, they're playing at home and they win by a field goal," Weis said Tuesday. "Another team [Florida] that jumped us wasn't even playing. They were home eating cheeseburgers and they end up jumping us. That befuddles me."
Clemson jumped ahead of Notre Dame in The Associated Press Top 25 poll with a 31-7 victory over Georgia Tech, a team the Irish struggled to beat 14-10 in the season opener. The Irish dropped two spots to No. 10 in the coaches' poll after Florida, which had a bye, and Tennessee, which came back from seven points down to beat Alabama 16-13 with a touchdown with 3:28 left, moved ahead of the Irish.
Texas, which needed a 22-yard field goal to beat Nebraska 22-20 with 23 seconds left, passed the Irish in the BCS standings, dropping the Irish to No. 9.
"Tell me how that works?" Weis said. "Maybe I'm just stupid. Tell me how that works?"
It was the second time this season the Irish dropped in the polls following a win. After beating Georgia Tech, they fell from No. 2 to No 4 in the AP and from third to fifth in the coaches' poll. They also fell from No. 8 to No. 9 in the AP poll on their off week two weeks ago.
Weis, though, said the biggest concern for the Irish isn't the polls. He said they simply need to keep winning. They can clinch a spot in a BCS bowl -- and the $4.5 million that comes with it -- by finishing eighth or better in the final standings.
They still have an outside shot of making it to the national championship game -- but Weis admits they would need a lot of luck and help, especially with their next four games coming against the three military academies and North Carolina (1-6) before closing the regular season at USC.
"Let's be very practical here. Would I love for Notre Dame to play for the national championship this year? Absolutely," he said. "Is it a chance that it happens? Yeah, there's a chance. Because any team with one loss has a chance of playing for it."
But no team in recent memory has been beaten like the Irish were in their 47-21 loss to Michigan and come back and won a championship. The Irish not only have a bad loss, but they also have two near-misses in come-from-behind victories over Michigan State and UCLA. The offensive line has struggled repeatedly and the defense has given up many big plays.
Should the Irish be ranked in the top 10?
"I think we'll know that in about five weeks," he said. "We might be a top-five team in five weeks. But ask me that at the end of November. Because right now I couldn't answer that question."
BCEagle, yeah, ND knows how to play the BCS game. Heck, they've even got special rules written in just for them.
Just wondering, why was the series with BC ended? Seemed like you guys used to play every year.
BC lost a tough one against NC State, but they've also been fortunate to win a couple. I love this years Eagles team, good luck the rest of the way. Set the ACC on it's ear!
The 8 P'ers wanted 2 Notre Dame Home Games for every 1 at Chestnut Hill, or if need be Foxboro.
I was very happy when BC told the Irish to ram it up their arrogant, insolent ####!
ND is doing this with all its weaker Big East and other opponents trying to get easy cupcakes at 2-1 in home games so when they go 11-1, 12-0, with maybe 2-3 tough as games a year, they will always be in the National Title hunt.
ND is using the Big East because of its "basketball association" to schedule weak football teams and thinks they are fooling America.
But for sure, no way ND joins the Big East in Football!
That is the joke on the Big East Buffoons!
Good strategy, bad for NCAA football, and when the NCAA goes to a playoff of 8 teams and ND's SOS -Strength of Schedule has the Service Academies and a bunch of cupcakes?
OH, MY THE WHINING YOU WILL HEAR COMING OUT OF THE DOME WHEN NOTRE DAME FINISHES 9th and no BCS slide in the playoffs special rules!
These tactics will catch up with ND.

ND will never top last year. I looked at the combined records of the teams that they played. I forget but it was something truly #### like 42-75. The amazing thing was who some of these cupcakes lost to, Stanford to UC Davis, Syracuse to Buffalo, etc. I'm sure that you could have spun process out one more level and come up with a combined record of 95 and 1126. The way they win makes me want to puke as well. If Foley walks we'll know that god is looking out for congressional perverts, former priests, and the ND football team.
