I watched the 2007 Draft and watched Keyshawn praised the USC Reciever who was drafted by the Carolina Panthers, and how he was going to take him under his wings and be a better wideout. Days later the Panther didn't think Keyshawn could not teach the young wideout anything. There were 10 top recievers selected in the 1996 draft including Keyshawn who was selected No.1 over all. Keyshawn is now the only reciever of that 10 inactive. Why? He cannot play, it's simple he is too slow to get open, and to hide it he goes after young recievers who are better than he ever was and will be. Keyshawn has always been a cry baby, full of talk but never was able to back it up. Terry Glenn, Eddie Kennison, Marvin Harrison, Eric Moulds, Bobby Engram, Terrell Owens, Muhsin Muhammad, Amani Toomer, and Joe Horn all were drafted with Keyshawn and they are better recievers. There are tight ends that has more speed than Keyshawn and better hands.
Keyshawn main problem are young recievers who are better, and it's personal, it's not just about what he said about Chad Johnson, but any reciever who is younger than Keyshawn. Wayne Chrebet who played opposite of Keyshawn was a better over all reciever and he was a better catcher. Keyshawn has a problem, and it's called old age, he don't have the little speed he use to have anymore, the only speed he has now is the loose tongue that speak before his brain gives him the information and he's angry, he is taking it out on recievers who are better than he will ever be especially young ones.
Those other 9 recievers love the game of football, and some took paycuts to help their team to get better players. I listened to another reciever Freeman, who played with Green Bay who also happens to be a better WR than Keyshawn, backed Johnson and when players back another player, it means something. Reporters praise you one day and bury you another....no player former or present player need a reporter backing them. The Bengals losing problems are not to be blamed on Chad Johnson, blame it on the Head Coach "Defensive Genuis" Marvin Lewis who has not stopped anyone this year. Chad Johnson has not changed, he is the same win or lose. He's not a hypocrite like Keyshawn who did worse and played worse as a young reciever.
If Chad Johnson health premits will pass Keyshawn, and so will all those young recievers who Keyshawn made negative comments on. There is one thing that Keyshawn can't do, and that is to tell other recievers how good of a player he was, maybe he can talk about his college days but the pros, the real pros just passed him by and his problem also.
