Hello Sports Fans!! I'll tell ya a little about myself just in case someone actually reads this! I live in a very small town in Montana (population 1500). I am 36, Married to a handsome man, and have 3 sons who are all athletes. Even though my favorite sport is the one any of my sons are playing at the time, My true love is Nascar and anything Earnhardt. Until I met my husband about 12 years ago I knew nothing about Nascar but he was a HUGE Dale Sr. fan. The rest was destiny. Now my husband asks me facts about Sr. or Jr. and I have surpassed him in Earnhardt facts! I collect anything of either of theses two drivers (with a couple Tony Stewart things thrown in for good measure).
Welcome. You will find, as I have, many wonderful and intelligent NASCAR/race fans here. Falcon, Photog, x, WilliamWilliam, and JayJayDean are some of the best.

I am pretty new to the blogs too, but welcome 8fan. I too live in a very small town and other then my husband there are not a lot of big nascar fans here. But we do live for it and watch the races every time there is one on. Again Welcome!!

Rick Hendricks will regret dumping Kyle Busch. Kyle was in top 10 last year and is in the Chase again this year. He can drive circles around Casey Mears who normally races for 25th with Kyle Petty.
I hope that Kyle Busch signs with DEI and continues to finish ahead of JR in 8 out of 10 races in 2008 and 2009. JR and Hendricks are going to find that the problem has not been JR's car or crew. He does not have his dad's or Kyle Busch's talent.

Was it really necessary to put the same comment in 3 times??? I would never regret dumping a Busch. Way too much arrogance and not enough common sense. As for Kyle and Kurt, they think they can come in and play with the big boys but when they start messing with Kevin Harvick or Tony Stewart I am sure that they will learn the hard way. I respect the drivers who race each other and give the respect due to the boys who know the game.

Being in the clique means the NASCAR clique. you will probably have to work at it a little harder to make "The Clique" as in Fox sports Bloggers Clique. I am on the periphery of it by choice.

I have so much interest in the races and drivers. My car has #8 and #3 decals all over it. So does my husbands. Our sons play sports all school year - Football, Basketball, and Tennis. Our family loves most all sports. If you are interested in what I do for a living- I am a "Certified Memorialist" and a graphic designer. In easy terms- I make headstones and also signs. Building signs, car decals and signage, cabinet signs etc. etc. Being a graphic designer and working with vinyl you can imagine what our vehicles look like!! Anyway, Everyone have a good day. lol
