HEEHEE

GREEN SLIME LOSE! GREEN SLIME LOSE!

I LOVE ME SOME GREEN SLIME LOSING!

MCNABB LOOKED JUST LIKE HE'S PLAYED THE LAST 7 GAMES........LOUSY! HIS LAST 7 GAMES HE'S STARTED HE'S 1-6! 25 POINTS TOTAL THE FIRST 2 GAMES, THATS GOTTA HURT.......LOL

MCNABB 28-46 240 YARDS ZERO TOUCHDOWNS!

YOU GOTTA LOVE THAT IF YOU'RE A COWBOYS FAN! HELL YOU'VE GOTTA LOVE THAT NO MATTER WHO YOU ARE (SORRY PHILLY'S FANS....NOT REALLY YOU DESERVE MCNABB AND ALL HIS CRAPPY PLAY). WHY? BECAUSE EHOW STUPID WAS IT TO GET RID OF GARCIA! CAN YOU AS A PHILLY'S FAN REMEMBER THE LAST TIME MCNABB MADE IT THRU A COMPLETE SEASON?

YA, ME NEITHER!I HOPE PHILLY TAKES WASHINGTON'S PLACE AS THE BOTTOM FEEDER'S OF OUR DIVISION! I RULY HATE PHILLY WORSE THAN I HATE THE GIANTS! AND PEOPLE THATS BAD, VERY VERY VERY BAD!!!!!!!!!

JASON CAMPBELL LOOKED LIKE A YOUNG MCNABB, WONDER HOW MCNABB FEELS WHEN HE WATCHES YOUNG CAMPBELL LIGHT UP THE SLIME'S DEFENSE!?!?!?!

HOW LUCKY CAN THE FREAKIN BROWNS GET? I FOR ONE AM LOOKING FOR THE BROWNS TO HAVE A VERY VERY VERY BAD YEAR............SEE THE BROWNS, GOT ALITTLE TOO ANTSY AND TRADED DALLAS OUT OF THEIR FIRST ROUND PICK, SO THEY COULD GET BRADY QUINN......AND IN THE PROCESS GAVE UP THEIR 08 1ST ROUND PICK.......NOW, THIS MIGHT PAY OFF AT SOME POINT IN THEIR FUTURE, BUT FOR NOW HE'S RIDIN THE PINE, AND I WANT A HIGH TOP 5 PICK NEXT YEAR SO WE CAN GET A TOP WR, OR POSSIBLY ANOTHER TOP DEFENSIVE PLAYER, BUT WOULD PREFER A WR...... WE NEED ANOTHER MICHAELN IRVIN, GLENN IS GETTING OLD AS IS OWENS, AND CRAYTON I DON'T THINK IS STARTING WR MATERIAL, HURD MAYBE. BUT DAMN HOW CAN THE BENGALS GIVE UP 50+ POINTS TO A BROWNS TEAM THAT LOOKED AWFULL LAST WEEK? THE BENGALS ARE KNOWN FOR BEING A TEAM THAT SCORES BIG BUT I THOUGHT THEY MIGHT'VE PAID ALITTLE ATTENTION TO THEIR DEFENSE IN THE OFF-SEASON, ...................GUESS NOT! I KNOW ONE TEAM THAT DID PAY ATTENTION TO THEIR DEFENSE THIS PAST OFF-SEASON, THE COWBOYS. NOW, I KNOW IT DIDN'T LOOK LIKE IT IN THE FIRST GAME, BUT DAMN PEOPLE YOU HAVE TO GIVE THE DEFENSE A FEW GAMES TO GEL. DALLAS'S DEFENSE IS GELLIN LIKE MAGELLIN........... TIL NEXT TIME!

MISSING NFL TEAM REPORT: ANYBODY SEEN THE K.C CHIEFS? THE BEARS OFFENSE MUST BE WITH EM.........MISSING!
Sep 18, 2007 | 12:17PM | report this

ok BEARS FANS

YOU'RE foolin yourself if you think your team will get anywhere unless grossman improves. c'mon now, all joking aside, i talk alot of #### about DA BEARS but when it comes right down to it, even my buddy boatman, biggest DA BEARS FAN i know, will admit grosman is holding this team back. muhhamid and berrian are fantasy football jokes, when they should be in the top 10 receivers drafted each year. example: i took muhhamid in my auction draft, got almost laughed out of the room, paid $1 for him..... now, you're thinking $1 big deal? it was my last $1 out of $100 and i wasted it on someone i cut before the season started. then signed berrian, cut him the 2nd week....your team is going bnowhere this year, and for all the people talking #### about the boys beating 2 crappy teams, the bears beat a KC team feared only by themselves.......it's so bad in KC THIS YEAR johnson can't muster a 100 yard game to save his life and the bears are either right behind em or ahead of em in the no offense department!

It's funny, at my draft meetings this year for fantasy football,  the talk of the drafts was, do i draft LARRY JOHNSON or L.T with the 1st overall pick?  Well, it appears both are a bust so far, L.J being the bigger of the 2 busts. I might be expecting more from L.T but damn, where's the rushing yards? where's the 150 + rushing game with 2 or 3 td's? Well, I think SAN DIEGO has shot themselves in the foot, NORV TURNER just plain sucks! look at his track record as a head coach, was marty ball that bad? was it so bad that even tho marty didnt get along with the front office of SAN DIEGO , and they were not on speaking terms, hell they were in the playoffs? where are they now chargers fans?..................0-2!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

and to top this whole thing off, i got l.t this year, finally after 3 seasons in my auction league where i refused to spend the money, i splurged this year, almost $60 out of the $100 i am alotted to spend...............ever heard of the EA MADDEN CURSE? I THINK I'M THE LOCAL FANTASY DRAFT CURSE, IT'S LIKE I'VE BEEN ON THE FRONT OF A FANTASY DRAFT VIDEO GAME BOX AND I'M THE CURSE PEOPLE, L.T SUCK THIS SEASON AND I'M THE FREAKIN CURSE................. by the way i will be looking to take up donations to re-coop my $60 wasted in that draft........lol  one thigns for certain, i sure as hell didn't take julius jones sorry ####!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

donations anyone?............. >:(

GREATNESS

2007 REGULAR SEASON 9/9 NY GIANTS W 45-35 9/16 @ Miami    ( MIAMI NEEDS JESUS TO WIN THIS GAME, NOT LIKELY JESUS IS A MIAMI FAN!) 9/23 @ Chicago 9/30 ST LOUIS 10/8 @ Buffalo 10/14 NEW ENGLAND 10/21 MINNESOTA 11/4 @ Philadelphia 11/11 @ NY Giants 11/18 WASHINGTON 11/22 NY JETS 11/29 GREEN BAY 12/9 @ Detroit 12/16 PHILADELPHIA 12/22 @ Carolina 12/30 @ Washington

Think the Bears would have traded their 14-point defensive effort for a victory? YOU BET!

WHAT THE COWBOYS LOST FROM THIS GAME WAS JASON FERGUSON:

Nose tackle Jason Ferguson is now out for the entire season after suffering a torn biceps tendon in the first quarter of Sunday's 45-35 win over the Giants. Ferguson, a 10-year veteran who is the only experienced nose tackle on the roster, will have surgery Friday on his biceps muscle which has separated from the tendon at the elbow.

The Cowboys will move Ferguson to injured reserve this week, but as of Monday, the club was still contemplating what to do with that impending open roster spot.

NOW, FOR THOSE THAT ARE QUICK TO STAND UP AND PUT DOWN THE COWBOYS DEFENSE, LET ME POINT OUT A FEW THINGS YOU PROBABLY COULDN'T REALIZE ON YOUR OWN UNLESS YOU'RE A COWBOYS FAN OR AN AVID FOOTBALL FAN........DON'T TAKE THAT BAD, JUSS SAYIN...........

Think the Bears would have traded their 14-point defensive effort for a victory? YOU BET!

Losing Newman on defense IS  the equivalent of losing Romo on offense.

NEWMAN?!?!?!?!?!

TERENCE NEWMAN?!?!?!?!?!?!?

THATS RIGHT PEOPLE, HE WAS ABSCENT FROM THE GAME, ENTER ROOKIE CORNERBACK Jacques Reeves!

THE WHOLE DEFENSE WAS RUSTY, WILLIAMS BITING ON PLAY ACTION, NOT HELPING REEVES DEEP ON THE TD OVER THE MIDDLE TO BURRESS!

BUT LETS BACK UP........DID I JUST MENTION PLEXICO BURRESS? HELL, JUST HOW MANY DEFENSES CAN COVER HIM ANYWAY.....SO NOT KNOCKING THE D IN BIG D JUSS YET!

Think the Bears would have traded their 14-point defensive effort for a victory? YOU BET!

are you ready for some football?
Aug 19, 2007 | 1:21AM | report this

Man am I ready for some football.  The Cowboys are coming into the pre-season looking strong all around.  this is going to be a short post but i plan on blogging again tomorrow night about some off-season happenings with the cowboys and just on a quick note............how about the trade giving us a round 1 pick in next years draft? FREAKIN AWSOME,RIGHT?!?!?!?!?!  I think Brady Quinn is the real deal, but even Aikman took a couple years to get the ship rolling in the right direction.  I think when it's all said and done, we have a top 5 draft pick and hopefully a top 5 running back in next years draft or possibly a speedy wide receiver to go with Terrell.

What do we really need to accomplish in the off-season and the pre-season? well, consistency with Romo I think is priority #1.  It appears that Romo has taken the off-season seriously. he entered camp this year looking better than anytime in his career and for good reason........produce numbers, wins and playoffs..........get a nice contract to go with it!  For those who dog Jerry Jones (and i have been 1 in the past to hound him on things he's said and done) , Jerry has put together a core of players that could rival the big 3 of the 90's.  Now , before I blog my thoughts and tell you the big 3 i'm talking about, keep in mind the big picture.......Julius Jones is not the answer at running back!  He has done mediocre, just like his brother Thomas did for the bears for years before stepping it up last year ( and the injury bug runs in the family..........Thomas laid up already with a bum leg) , I think Marion Barber is the long term answer for us. So here goes my Big 3 for this decade of cowboys teams to make the run for the superbowl:

1.  Tony Romo

2.  Terrell Owens

3.  Jason Witten

Now, I know, there are so many big name players on this team, but these are the weapons we have, the defense is rockin this year, and most cowboys fans could make a case Demarcus Ware's name should be on there, or Marcus Spears , Anthony Newman, Anthony Henry , Julius Jones who i stated above I feel shouldn't be considered, Big Daddy Flozel Adams or even Bobby Carpenter.  Whoever the case may be, opinions are like #### holes, everyone's got one and mine's stated above!

AFC WINS THE PRO BOWL...........BLAH!
Feb 23, 2007 | 10:45PM | report this

I know, i'm being abit negative about the results........actually here's the best thing out of that game I got:

"Romo hits Boldin on a bomb, and then connects with Steve Smith on the two pointer to tie it at 28. "

I thought it was sweet how Romo got the NFC back into the game, considering all the talk leading up to the pro bowl about how Romo shouldn't be in it, blah blah blah.  Well, my opinion, yes he deserved to be there.  I loved when Bledsoe came to the Cowboys, living thru all the QUINCY CARTER GAMES and ANTHONY WRIGHT GAMES, and the threat of DREW HENSON GAMES............nuff said? So I say YES to some TONY ROMO GAMES!  Now, i;m not dogging Bledsoe, I think there are some teams out there that he could start for, I think there are a whole lotta teams he could back-up for and extend his career for a long time, the Cowboys fit neither of those categories.  Parcells is gone, so goes Bledsoe!  Truth be known, if Parcells hadn't came to the Cowboys, Bledsoe wouldn't have either.  Hey Bledsoe........"Thanks for the memories, thanks for the wins, but it's time to put you on the shelf with the other Dallas QB's that's came and gone and leave it at that.............you look god on my shelf next to the starting line-up of BERNIE KOSAR!"

WELL,  i GUESS GUYS AND GALS tip your Bottle up to the AFC, they got a close win and deserve the credit.

I've recieved some feedback from recent posts, all are positive remarks about Romo and the Cowboys, I appreciate that,.  Nice to know there are 1 or 2 people reading what I write :)

til next time

Welcome Wade phillips to the greatest show on earth..........
Feb 08, 2007 | 10:55PM | report this

Well, I for one am happy, I think Jerry Jones grasp the big picture this time and went with someone besides a Dave Campo coach!  Wade, come on down brother, I feel good about this.  But first things first, Jason Garrett? Where did he come from? I know people, he backed up Troy and played in one of the best thanksgiving games i've seen,  but coaching?

Well, guess we'll see on that one, maybe he'll fit in as QB coach, but surely not offensive coordinator.  I for one sure thought Norv was going to get this one, but good call Jerry, good call!!!!!

So, any guesses who will be hired next? I'd love to see them steal a quality defensive coordinator from someone, but Wade is defense minded, look how well he groomed San Diego's defense, nuff said, huh!

Man I feel like a kid in a candy store, it's a great feeling for the first time since they hired Parcells as the head coach, I know eeryone read all the nonsense about Parcells left because of Owens, BLAH BLAH BLAH! Owens was one of the top recievers this season, if i'm not mistakn led the league in Td's?!?!?!?!?!?! broken hand, hurt back, the incident with the pills, nothing kept my boy down, the press were hound dogs sniffin for blood on his #### and he showed them!

How many people think we have the nucleus of a championship team? I do, if Glen comes back, we have Owens, The defense justneeds fine tuned, Romo, Jones.............err well, that's a sore spot with me, Jones I think needs to go and lets run with barber. Little story for ya, I was in a paying fantasy league this season, get in it every year, bunch of local hillbillies I call friends, but they're bad #### people! they do their homework, they're in 4 leagues to my 1, and at $50 to $100 a pop, my broke #### can afford onle 3 of them.....lol   but anyways back to my story, I am a true Cowboys fan people, I know I get emails from people claiming to be true blue, bleeding silver and all that, but i'm with em thick and thin, win or lose and I know alot ofothers out there are too, the losses account for my eXcuses to drink alittle more bud light each week >:)   but in the yearly draft I make it a point to draft atleast 1 cowboys player, just to show the bastages that if i'm to lose, i'm goin down with atleast one of the boys on my roster.

well, this year it bit me in the arse, AND IT HURT ALL THE WAY TO MYBILLFOLD(wife's over on the couch makin little comments, she had plans for some of the money..lol)  . This was suppose to be my year,i'd done my homework, 4 fantasy football magazines later, pages ripped out and spread across the floor, I knew who I wanted and How I wanted it, just had t get lucky and get a good number in the draft., well I did, drafted 4th, that's a good number in the draft, sucks it's past johnson and alexander and L.T but hey 4th "gonna get me some Julius Jones!"  Now I know what you;re thinkin, JULIUS JONES? I had a good feeling about him, just knew he was gonna bust out just knew the dallas offensive line was gonna protect and block and.................... you know the rest. A 2 running back system. But that's still O.K , cause the season before I got burned with Jamal Lewis and was sure as hell not taking him, even if he was the last player left and i was the last owner picking, AND I DIDNT TAKE HIM..........I TOOK MARION BARBER  III and Ladell Betts.  Now, if you've read this far, you're waiting for me to tell you something like I traded Jones and got corey Dillon in return, NOPE I rode the horse al the way down.....................down to 5TH FRICKIN PLACE! How you say? well I made the playoffs, not good enough to get my $50 back, but in the top 6 owners. First round, really smoked my opponentlike a good cigar(3rd ranked team by the way), 2nd round decided I would get cocky and bench Barber and go with Sammy Morris.............heh yeah, I got kinda desperate and needed a quick fix, see Marion Barber posted the BIG ZERO on points the week before, and Betts was injured, so I read up on yahoo, took the experts polls and............BARBER FREAKIN SCORED LIKE 24 POINTS AND I LOST THUS KICKING ME OUT OF THE LEAGUE MONEY, but wait, you ask what this has to do with Jones? Jones posted a whopping 4 points, so between my 2 Cowboys starters, I got 4 points.

Well, it's had a LASTING effect, I no longer think of Julius Jones as a Cowboys player with potential to stick around, in fact, Parcells didn't either in his last NFL draft, he tried to get ANY team to trade a pick for JONES, and noone would, 1,000 yard rusher you say, I say rubbish, I think it was a fluke and next season Jones will be on the hot seat, we need $1300 or 1500 yards from someone with his potential, but then again it runs in the family doesn't it :)

Thomas Jones did do well in the superbowl rushing 15 times for 112 yards no TD's but did have 1 52 yard run, think Julius Jones will ever do that, WE'LL SEE.................................

TRIVIA TIME: CAN YOU NAME THE MVP OF Super Bowl XX WITHOUT looking it up on google?
