Marcos Ambrose will enter his first race at Richmond International Raceway looking for a change of luck at the Circuit City 250 presented by FUNAI in Virginia this weekend. Ambrose will make his first start at the fast 0.75-mile speedway in the #59 Kingsford Charcoal Ford Fusion, but the Australian has prior experience at Richmond after completing two days of NASCAR Busch Series open testing at the venue in March.
“We had a test at Richmond back in March so although I’ve never raced there we know what is ahead,” said Ambrose. We’ve made some changes since that test and I’m looking forward to getting out there trying our package out there."
I am not trying to blow smoke up your rear, Falcon. You are without a doubt the best at posting NASCAR and other racing blogs. You state facts and can back up everything you say. I really enjoy reading what you write. Whether I agree with you or not you always leave me with ideas to consider and research. Anything you say can be taken to the bank. I have learned a great deal from you. My question for you: Will you please consider NHRA because it is also a passion of mine? Your posts and your pics leave everyone else in your dust chocking. I really appreciate your insight and knowledge. Thanks!
Thanks. Keep in mind I borrow from the best and be sure to click on the "more" links to learn more from the original writers themselves.
I like the Ambrose story because it is a Busch Series guy driving Fords and he is an international driver from Australian V-8's which I had never heard of.
Sorry. I am just not an NHRA guy. Deemon is. I'll leave it to you two guys to keep each other posted on that series.
Any driver is going to have off days. Just do not need a lot of them. I think Ambrose is going to be fine this week end...
Yea Falcons: NHRA and IHRA. Guess I will have to dig in there. Used to love drag racing but got bit bad in those series. Lot of new drivers related to the old drivers I used to watch.
