The DOW fell again.  778 points, a single day record drop.  Well... At least we have sports.

Matt Bryant (kicker for Tampa Bay) lost his 3 month old son on saturday, the day before an important game with Green Bay.  He did more than his part including the PAT that put the Bucs ahead 30 - 21, leading them to victory.  During his time of mourning, he delivered, reminisent of Brett Favre, after his father passed away.  Sports are an outlet for us when things go bad.  Or in Bryant and Favres case, unimaginable.  Ones character sure does blossom when making the best of a terrible situation.  To Matt Bryant, you are truely a hero.  For your team, and for all who know what its like to lose someone. 

Politics, Economics, money - what I like to call an unecessary thresholds of our daily lives, seemingly take control at times.  I pay no attention to it, and try to live my life according to the way I want.  Sure, I pay taxes, I drive a car, I use fuel, but since we CANT controll these things, doesnt mean we cant ignore them.  I draw my attention to guitar, sports, books, my girlfriend and my family.  People like Matt Bryant make our struggles as a nation seem irrelevant, and maybe someday we can realize that there are more important things in life.
