Brett Favre]
For the second consecutive off season ESPN and every other sports station is being full of news on Brett Favre and him coming out of retirement. This is the second year that he has retired and then planned on coming back to play another season. I love Brett and I was on his side last year with the whole situation. But I didn't let it take up all my time when I worried to the NFL. But I'm a Vikings fan so this year I have to pay attention to it. Trainers and members of the coaching staff should be in Mississippi right now as we speak working out with him, to figure out how far along he is. Now a lot of people are saying that Favre should just go away I feel differently about that. I want Brett in Minnesota................ If he can play at a high level that is. Everyone talks about how he played bad at the end of last season with the Jets, but they never bring up the fact that he was hurt with the shoulder injury that he just had surgery for in most of those games. If he can come back and his shoulder feels as good as it did and he can play at the level he did in his last year in Green Bay we will be going to the super bowl. I seriously think that if does come to the Vikings this will be the best team he has ever had. And the fact that we have the running back in football to me in A.P. means he wont have to throw 30-40 passes a game and he has a great chance to win. Not to mention the schedule we have, because other than the Steelers, Ravens and Giants I don't believe we have any though games but I might be wrong. The only thing I hope for is that this whole thing hurries and get over with. I want Favre to run the offense but I just tired of hearing about if he is coming back I want to find out ASAP.

this is the reason the vikes self destruct. Brett is not young enough and will get hurt and play hurt because he is tough. And the vikes will be set back another year without addressing the QB position. so sad
