The Dallas Cowboys have the best team in football, period. When it comes down to pure talent, teamwork and playmaking ability, no one in the league compares. They have been acclaimed early on as the Superbowl favorites, due to their talent and coaching staff. This week, however didn't reflect the hype.
Whether or not Wade Phillips or Jason Garrett is to blame, someone was at fault, and for a change it wasnt the players. The obvious change of the game plan on sunday vs the Washington Redskins completly reflected the outcome of the game. Forcing the ball to Terrell Owens, seemingly to make him happy, threw of the team chemistry as a whole. Romo, throwing over forty times, sometimes in normal running situations was completly uneccesary. One could say that the coaching staff panicked, and felt that they were further behind than they actually were. How could the Cowboys think they could win with Barber getting only 8 touches! All of which were rushing plays. Not once did Romo throw to Barber or FELIX! Both players account for 6 touchdowns in the first 3 games, and now the coaches want to take them out of the game? I dont understand the play calls, and I dont understand the change of heart on a very important divisonal game at home. Now the division is as tight as it could ever be, and all 4 teams are showing imense potential for the playoffs.
Felix Jones, a rookie, has been a huge difference maker in the first three games of the season, and against Washington, the only touches he got were on kickoffs. Stupid coaching! Absolutly idiotic.
Terence Newman, a probowler, had mistackles, missed sacks, and consistently inconsistent coverage. He looked like a junior high corner back.
Were lucky Ware wasnt hurt too bad, hopefully Ellis isnt either.
If the Cowboys want to be taken seriously, the coaches better get it together. This one is DEFINATLY on them, no questions asked!
