The reds won another tonight, eeking out a 8-7 win over the brew crew. Ryan freel had a big night getting 3 hits 2 of them homers. todd coffey got the win and eddie guardado got the save. It was the reds second straight victory over the brewers and their 7th out of nine games. which brings me to my question. Will the reds go to the post season?
To answer my own question yes. This is a club with the most homers in the majors and almost every starter on the team has at least 10 homers. Also they have great pitchers in bronson arryo and aaron harang who will both probably end up with 15 wins.
Also lets look at the schedule. of the reds remaining 64 games only 21 of them are against teams with 500 records. And of those teams 14 of the games are against the giants and padres teams barely over 500. the reds have a one game lead on the giants and the only thing keeping them from wining it is themselves.
