It's time for more stupidity, more hilariousness (is that even a word?), and more weirdness. Its the Darwin Awards for sports II.

Bill and his Brother Martin are known for their jumping up and down after Kicking a field goal, regardless of its importance.So in 2003 while playing with the Cardinals bill kicked a field goal, and of course began jumping up and down. But as soon as he landed he fell to the ground and started clutching his knee. His game and season were done after he learned that he'd torn his ACL.

Dave Winfield

While warming up for the 5th inning against the Blue Jays in 1983, Dave Winfield of the Yankees noticed a Seagull walking around the outfield. So threw the ball at it hoping to scare it away. But unfortunatley for Dave and the bird the ball hit the bird in the neck killing it instantly. After a few moments of shocked silence The crowd erupted into boos, and started throwing trash at him. But it dosen't end there. After the game dave was arrested for animal cruelty, and was forced to pay a 500 dollar fine.Billy martin quipped after the game that it was the first time dave had hit the cutoff man all year.

Charles Barkley

While playing the Denver Nuggets in 1993 sir Charles was joking around with the Nuggets mascot rocky. Rocky challenged him to a boxing match, and Barkley obliged by punching Rocky in the head.their clowning developed into a friendly rivalry and Rocky was even flown in for Barkley's final NBA game with the Houston Rockets, during which Barkley offered a friendly handshake before sneaking in one last punch.
