A Super Bowl win would have helped the Bears, but a loss is still good right? I mean, wouldn't the players want to come back next season and do it it next year? Nope. After the Super Bowl, Sexy Rexy was hit with the usual media, and everyone was expecting a contract re-negotiation with Lovie Smith.
All of a sudden the Bears let coach Ron Rivera go! At first I thought, what were they thinking? Now I see that Lovie did most of the play calling, and it may have been a good idea. So then, I thought, ok, a re-negotiation with Lovie, right Ted Phillips? No.
A few weeks later, Ted and the crew resigned Lovie and, surprisingly, GM Jerry Angelo. So then everything was good, right? Nope.
Thomas Jones announced immediatly that he wanted out of the organization. I think it was because people suspected that the Bears took so long to resign Lovie because of his race.
Now, this morning, Lance Briggs has announced that he wants a trade, too. The Bears are falling apart. It's time for panic.
