Why the NBA cannot find a commissioner that is not so entrenched into the NBA owner's pockets is beyond reason. Pencil Head has been the commissioner by proxy since no one with real management skills and experience in dealing with professional athletics is willing to put up with the antics of the NBA owners nor wiling to be associated with a league that has slowly denigrated itself by allowing the behavior that has been running rampant in the NBA for the past 7 years. Players that seem or are unable to control themselves and show any resemblance of decent human beings and a league that is not willing to seriously address the issue. While this is not a problem if its own to the NBA all professional and collegiate sports suffer from the same brain drain of common sense and a realistic approach in dealing with the problems, problems that are compounded by teams owners and a commissioners office(s) that refuse to seriously address the issue except to through band-aids at a cancerous situation.

The fans of today and the media are just at fault. The media continually pedal the drool on TV every time a fight, brawl or conduct that any of us would never think of doing is shown over and over again and the media brushes over it like painted a dry rotted boat while it looks good, underneath the shimmering exterior is potential disaster until the league seriously addresses the issue. Until the league seriously addresses the issues no one and I mean one with any real expertise will want to be commissioner of the NBA.

Players conduct on and off the court should be a determining factor in employment. I bet tomorrow if you or any one of us went out did what some of these trashletes do not only would be in jail awaiting trial but we would lose our jobs and our families would suffer. Why not the same for these trashletes? Why won't the NBA get serious and develop rules that seriously punish a trashletes for conduct detrimental to the league? is it because all these antics gets publicity  and sells tickets and creates little street thugs that are proud to wear the jersey of their favorite trashletes? Sure it is. But wouldn't league still sell tickets; sell their merchandise if everyone conducted themselves as professionals.

If I ever waked into a meeting talking like, acting like, or presenting myself likes these self absorbed idiots of the hard wood I would not have lasted as long as I have in business and would have been laughed out of every office building I walked into. Maybe it's time we the ones with the power, the viewing audience, the ticket buyers, the fans in the seats start to demand more. Start to boycott those teams those organizations that allow the conduct. Those owners that think it's acceptable for a player to act the way they do without any consequences. Let's stop buying their products the products of the advertisers. I say put down that bag of Fritos you fat ass and stand with me  and say "I am not going to take this shit anymore" No long will I buy your taco bell, miller lite, staples, ford, Chevy super turbo tacos and trucks.

The party is over its all big business and you and I are being squeezed. The advertisers, media, commissioner and owner's don't respect the fans. They tell you what you want to here and like lap dogs you are all lapping it up.

That is why the NBA will never have a real commissioner.
