Can't wait to face 2 specific teams: the 49ers and the Bears. Bears because they owe us from the Denny Green accident. And the 49ers cause they think they will beat everyone.
The Cards defense looked great tonight against the Giants. Eli Manning was pressured most of the night and hit several plays and 3 sacks was fantastic. When Adrian Wilson went down the team slacked off the blitzes and Eli had some extra time to throw. The Giants run game is good and with the Cards jumping out on them forced the Giants to pass, not their strong suit. Great raod victory for the Cards, looking good on all phases with Beanie really having a breakout game tonight and scoring his first TD.
One of the primary reasons they haven't done as well is that Boldin hasn't been 100% he hasn't been contrubuting as much as he did when he was healthy. Kurt is just strugling a bit but not to the measure where Mannning beats him out completely. Kurt still has a lot of season left he is much more experienced so in a way he might have a pretty good chance at taking the win. Also their defense has stepped up big time with Mcfadden and Rogers out there at corners positions its a lot harder to get balls by them and with Wilson it's just very good coverage. One more thing is that the Cardinals are #1 in running defense I know that won't last but if they can keep up the good work they will be #1 in the NFC W
I totally agree Manny! Warner is NOT doing good so far AT ALL. My husband has completely lost faith in him. But, I'm hoping he's still got it left in him to lead the team to the playoffs. I guess only time will tell. GO CARDS!
I disagree Cocopah1. Considering what Kurt has done for us, I think it is well worth it.
