ive been a huge nascar fan for 20 years. my whole life. when i grew up the racing was hard. drivers would bump into each other. drivers showed emotion. we didnt have hundreds of commercials. no car of tommorow. no pretty boys racing. just good ole southern boys racin.in the past few years nascar has changed dramtically.. attendace is down n so is tv ratings. im gonna make a list of things about nascar that has brought the fanship down
)car of tommorow-im all for safety. no one wants to see another accident like dale sr again, but did nascar not think of what the car would be like racing?the racing this year has been horrible. i have tuned out many times cuz the races r so boring
)lucky dog-giving a slow car back a lap? how dumb..whats next the 2nd place car gets to go to 1st place at a caution?? this was another safety rule but i think its useless. if u cant keep up make ur car better
)replay-u know when we redo the last 3 laps.hey its a greta idea but y throw a caution on the last lap?? if the last two cars on the track crash do we really need a caution?
)tracks-clifornia,kansas,chicago,pocono, are horrible. easily put fans to sleep. needs more shortracks. i cant handle another california race
)tradition--nascar has done a great job of getting rid of tradition. bye rockingham, bye labor day at darlington, good bye fans thta made us popular. hello fans who have no clue how a car is loose or tight
)drivers-jamie mcmurry? carl edwards? juan pablo? casey mears?..these guys r nothin but pretty boys..what happend to the good ole boys like bobby allison, and cale yarbrough??
)sponsors-sponsors run the sport. oweners dont hire based on talent anymore. they hire based on how well they look and how young they are.
)mike helton and brian fance- theses two have ruined nascar, and will run it to the ground
feel free to add nymore reasons
