Tenorio's goal in yesterday's match against AL-Shamal was important for his scoring career with AL-Sadd Club... This goal is his 50th goal since he joined AL-Sadd in the summer of 2003...The actual official beginning for Tenorio was back in 2003-2004 in Sheikh Jassim Cup Championship, and in which AL-Sadd won the title.
Tenorio was the footballer of the championship with a total of 10 goals in 6 matches.
Then Tenorio played his second official championship, the Stars League, and he was able to score 18 goals in 13 matches. He was right behind Batistuta who won the footballer title with 25 goals, 8 of which were from penalties. None of Tenorio's goals, however, was scored from a penalty.
