    Germany Against England Friendly

Saturday, August 18, 2007, 04:27 PM EST [General]

This should  be a great match up, i love it when this two countries play whether its a friendly or a world cup final.

                    Germany    what Loew Should play

                                   Lehmann

    Lahm   Mertesacker    Metzelder   Pander

    Schneider   Hitzlsper    trochowski   Schweini

                    Kuranyi               Klose

      England  what Mclaren should Play

                                    Robinson

    Richards      Ferdinand     Terry      ????

                                   Hargreaves

    Beckham              Gerrard               Lampard

                                    Bent

I think there will be lots of subs used in this game.    The score will be 2-1 Germany.  However, england or should i say Mclaren will play very hard because they need this win much more than Germany does.

Minnesota trades Fernandez, builds awesome trap team

Saturday, June 30, 2007, 11:55 PM EST [NHL]

Now that the Wild traded Manny Fernandez to the Bruins, the Wild will have extra cash to build the best trapping team of all time.  Doug Risebrough and J. Lemaire will attempt to have 18,000 plus fans fall asleep in twenty mintues without the use of "select comfort" seats and Brahms lulabys over the PA.  The new wild line-up will have an equivlent of 200 mg. of Lunesta, a powerful sleep aide.   There could be periodic periods of sleep interuptions when Derek Boogaard pounds enemys into submission, but for the most part rich people from the suburbs of the Twin Cities will slumber in their lower level sets with the greatest of ease.

Probable MN wild line up for 07-08 :

    Demitra- Yashin-Gaborik
    Rolston-Bouchard-Blake
    Parrish-Koivu-Pouliot
    Boogaard-Walz-Veilleux

    Johnsson-Carney
    Burns-Skoula
    Lakos-Belle

    Backstrom: aka Vezina
    Harding: aka Manny who?

    Transfer predictions software

Friday, June 29, 2007, 10:27 PM EST [Soccer]

Here are a few of the transfers that have recently occured.  I have developed a software program based on past statistics, regression, advanced calculus and string theory that can predict how these mega transfers will do. Will they be a success or will they flop?

Luca Toni-  10 goals.  Helps Bayern win Uefa cup

Henry- 8 goals.  Injured again. doesn't fit in well with new team mates. huge goal slumps.  (Henry cant score on the French national team, nor could he with Monaco or Juventus)

Nani- 5 goals.  Finally Ronaldo has someone to talk to.  Accidently lands 3 rows into the Kop after doing his pattented back flips celebration after scoring a goal against liverpool.

Gekas-17 goals.  No flop here.  Becomes the best player in the bayer Leverkusen system since Berbatov and Ballack.

Owen Hargreaves- 1 goal.  Becomes the most popular "Owen" in England.  Michael Carrick packs bags moves to Crystal Palace.

Klose- 9 goals-  Splits too much time between Toni and Podolski.  should have went abroad. Spain or England.

Basturk- 5 goals-  strengthens the Stuttgart midfield. great transfer.

Lincoln- 9 goals- Curves his discipline in Turkey now that he is not in the same league as Bernd Schneider.   Writes gettysburg address.

Scott Parker-2 goals.  Proves Usefull during the end of the year relegation battle for West Ham.

Viduka- 15 goals.  excels in Big Sams system. becomes a fan favorite.

got to go.  just got off the phone with Arsne Wegner.  He wants to use my software.  I'd say Tevez for 10 goals. Viera would help too.

Bayern Munich back to Euro Glory?

Tuesday, June 26, 2007, 08:57 PM EST [Bundesliga]

Bayern Munich look set to retake the Bundesliga this year and possibly field the most dangerous Uefa cup squad of all time.  With the recent aquisition of Miroslav Klose, Luca Toni and Franck Ribery, FC Hollywood have aquired more talent than any team in europe thus far in the transfer market.

The Bayern attack will be impressive with Toni and Klose as first choice strike pair, leaves Podolski on the bench for late substitutions and a solid replacement if Toni or Klose find any midseason slumps.  This leaves the beak nosed Dutch striker Makaay as foder.  I see him going to a mid table English club or back to his native Holland.

In the midfield Bayern have many new options, Ze Roberto, Sosa, Ribery and Altintop from Schalke, bringing different talents which they did not have last year.

In Defense they arguably have the best back line in Europe.  Lucio and Vanbuyten have the size to fill the midle and play a physical game.   Phillip Lahm is one of the best right/left backs in the world.  Marcell Jansen is poised to get first team action and will be a pleasant suprise.  Bayern also have Sagnol to throw in for different options.

    Probable Bayern Line up

                                           Kahn

    Lahm       /          Lucio    /        VanBuyten     /         Jansen

    Ribery      /       Vanbommel  /   ZeRoberto   /   Schweini

                       Klose            /            Toni
