    Run for the border

Sunday, April 15, 2007, 03:01 PM EST [VOLLEYBALL]

Under normal circumstances, a "penetration under the net" violation in volleyball would result in either a sideout or a point being awarded to the opposing team.

But in a recent match between U.S. and Mexican teams, the penalty could have been a lot more severe.

    Say, deportation.

The game in question took place across the U.S.-Mexican border, with both the Americans and the Mexicans playing the role of "home" team and a rusty border fence serving as the net.
