During the World Cup, we had a soccer coach who was prepared to force his players to have sex with their wives. Now comes word that a Bulgarian soccer team has ordered one of its stars to get married in the coming year.

And we thought NFL coaches were control freaks.

But clearly they've got nothing on the folks running Bulgarian premier league side Litex Lovech, who are so concerned about striker Ivelin Popov's penchant for fast living that they've ordered the 19-year-old to settle down with the right woman.

"They want me thinking only about football and the marriage probably will help me to calm down," Popov said.

"I know I'm a very bad boy and I want to meet my 20th birthday as a married man."
