Letter bomb or memorabilia?
In the case of Byron Nelson, the Roanoke bomb squad decided to err on the side of caution, detonating a suspicious package -- the writing was "peculiar" and the postage had not been cancelled -- sent to the golfing legend.
As it turns out, unless banners from the Masters are more dangerous than we have been led to believe (and we aren't putting anything past the green-jacketed members of Augusta National), no ill will was intended to Lord Byron.
