On 6/6/06, the Los Angeles Dodgers scored six runs on six hits in the sixth inning of their game against the New York Mets.

Doyle is convinced this means that Dodgers manager Grady Little is the devil, but he's a Red Sox fan, so please take his interpretation of these cosmic events with a grain of salt.

I do, on the other hand, believe that if Nomar Garciaparra makes it through the remainder of the regular season without suffering an injury, that may, in fact, qualify as one of the signs of the apocalypse.
