    We'll be the first to admit that an athlete getting arrested in a drunk driving incident doesn't remotely qualify as weird. But it was the whole "hiding from the police in the bushes" aspect of this story that qualifies it for inclusion in our little corner of the sports world.

    Clearly, Scott Sauerbeck didn't get the Official Professional Athletes Handbook when he made it to the big leagues. Or if he did, he hasn't gotten to the chapter where it explains the proper technique to employ when detained by the long arm of the law (see Gilbert "You Can't Arrest Me" Arenas for a textbook example).
