Euro 2008 Poll: Who Will Be The Finalists?
Monday, June 23, 2008, 09:38 PM EST
[Euro 2008]
A very strange thing happened this week.
For those of you who don't know me, I'm The Gaffer of EPL Talk - a Premier League blog and, for the month of June, the site is also filled with Euro 2008 goodness. I posted a poll this week on my site and asked the readers to predict who would be in the final. As of writing, the results show that 49% predict Germany against Spain, 47% think it'll be Russia against Germany and 4% believe it'll be Turkey against Russia. Unbelievably, however, not one person predicted Spain against Turkey! That poll answers still stun me. Why would Turkey against Russia garner 4% of the vote while Turkey against Spain would receive no votes? Is Spain that less likely to make the final, or do soccer fans believe that Russia are better equipped to beat the Spanish, while the German juggernaut continues to be unstoppable? Feel free to share your thoughts on who you think will be the finalists of Euro 2008. Cheers, The Gaffer Tags:
