Everyone gets its but the Ncaa.The top players are going to get paid one way or the other.He's been a pro player since the 11th grade.Do you really tnink he's going to walk around broke,while the University makes millions no that's not going to happen.The NCAA has to join the 21st century Division 1 college athletics is no longer amateur,its a large professional league.Tim Floyd and most of everyone else new what was going on.To sign Mayo you have to spend money,now Tim is wrong,and broke the rules,but all the top players get a little something extra,sneakers, warm ups,dinners,money from AAU coaches.The top players in college should get a stipend so they can buy the basics,and some new clothes from time to time.This is my opinion but its a new day in big time college sports.In the future especially in basketball the top talent will head over seas or go to the highest bidder or sit out a year and then apply for the NBA draft.The NCAA should put themselves on probation,for living in the 20th century

The 2009 Nba draft is rapidly approaching and the obvious choice is Blake Griffin,and after that do you go big or small,do you take the guard from Spain Rick Rubio or do yo go big and take Hasheem Thabeet from UCon.There are going to be a lot of guards drafted in the first round,due to the games focus on the guards,being able to run the team able to score. I personally wouldn't take a guard over a big man unless were talking about a big Guard like Magic Johnson who could play more than one position and do it all.Just asking do you go big or small if you have the second pick in the draft

I see and understand your contempt for referees,since you lost a crucial game,and the refs blew a call,but to call Kenyon Martin a thug,and to top it off single out Kenyons mom ,to personally deliver the message is ridiculous ,that is out of bounds. Mark that is thug behavior, now Mark Cuban isn't a thug as in gun toting ,criminal way,he is a paper thug,he talks all day about refs,players and he pays the fines ,that's a paper thug,paper being money.His antics go way beyond passion,but he had no business talking slick to Kenyons mother in the first place,your a owner and a fan and have passion for your team we get it but his antics are way beyond reasonable,The Nba is not the NHL ,the playoffs get testy, but Mark the Paper Thug needs to tone it down a little.This could of got way uglier ,most men don't appreciate people approaching there Moms, in any kind of way thankfully nothing physical happened.

Im a little disturbed,by the latest news,you ask what news,if your a sports fan Im sure you heard about Manny Ramirez,yeah yeah Manny being Manny,well he is the latest casualty of Baseball drug law.Now I almost believed 100 percent A Rod was clean and that threw me for a little jolt when I found out he was a cheat ,but this really threw me off.So ,what do I tell my son,now,do I tell him Manny is innocent and only took some medicine his doctor prescribed and its all his doctors fault,hell I know better than that. Or do I tell him Manny is cheater like the rest of them.Once again what do I tell my son who likes Mannys antics and skill set.Manny is a lot of things but a drug cheat I didn't think was one of them.Another question what do fathers all across the USA tell there kid whose playing little league baseball.I hope for Mannys sake it is a error in judgement ,and his Doctor goofed but anything associated with performance enhancement ,is taboo and career ending as far as public opinion.All Manny had to do is check with MLB and he could of saved his reputation as quirky but clean.Well HOF ,that may be out the window now.So,once again when my son ask me why did Manny use drugs what do I say.Baseball once again involved with more dirty laundry.I tell my son something,I tell him to study the exploits of Ken Griffey Jr.

I being a sixer fan by nature,I'm getting a little excited by watching the Cleveland Cavaliers.We live in era where millionaire athletes are getting into trouble,not happy at there job,and beef with there teammates every chance they get.So watching Cleveland play,you can see they actually like each other and are happy playing basketball,this is a refreshing sight.The City of Detroit received some great news ,hall of famer Dave Bing was voted in as Mayor,with Bings business expertise ,there is a hope Bing can create some jobs and help bring a boost to the economy.Detroit the home of the highest unemployment rate in America ,has something to cheer for besides the Lions.Now my man Brett Favre,he is a riot,he is the Muhammed Ali of the NFL,if he comes back good for him,his legacy won't be tarnished because he has put up the numbers ,so Brett good luck in Minnesota if you choose to play again
