Better Running Back in there prime Barry Sanders or Adrian Peterson?

Thursday, August 6, 2009, 01:43 PM EST [NFL]

Barry Sanders played on lousy football teams and still managed 15000 yard in 10 seasons. If you take the time to think about his surrounding cast you probably remember Herman Moore and no one else.Scott Mitchell was the quarterback on some of them lousy Lions teams and despite all the sub par talent around Barry he still produced.

Adrian Peterson has a deep threat in Berion,he has a running back to relieve him who would start for most teams Chester Taylor, and Bryant McKinnie anchors a all pro line.

I would take Barry Sanders over every other running back ever,I saw clips of Jim Brown but i would take Sanders anyway. If Sanders played for Minnesota he would average 2200 yards a season.

So who is Better Sanders or  Peterson?

    ITS PETES TURN NOW

Tuesday, July 28, 2009, 03:06 PM EST [General]

Time for Pete Rose to be reinstated ,you say he bet on baseball, well he did,but betting in America is legal.americans bet all day long.they gamble on everything. See baseball has this false since of being pure but its just as corrupt has any other sport. They turned a blind eye to whole steroid issue ,then they act like they werent aware it was going on,come on now the public is smarter than that.I say let Pete back in ,finish cleaning up the steroid issue, and lets move baseball foward.

The game is fun again, exciting baseball is being played all over America ,this is the country of forgiveness.America wiped Japan practically off the map and now there our friends.

Commissioner GoODell Sticks it to Vick

Tuesday, July 28, 2009, 01:20 PM EST [General]

Are you kidding me ,another suspension after doing 2 years in the clink,4 games ,and the commissioner says hes doing whats good for Vick ,well thats B.S,the commissioner knows with Vick in limbo until week 6 ,and most rosters set at qb,the chance of Vick latching onto another team this year is slim. Then you throw in,the bad publicity thats going to come from signing Mike, its going to be a uphill battle for Michael,if I was in this situation ,I would give myself 3 weeks to get signed then if i wasnt signed by then I would look at other leagues,he has to get the rust off,so he can not go another year without playing organized football.

The new league is interesting and theres Canada, but he has to do something football wise this year, when you have teams like the RAIDERS saying there not interested ,you have to believe he might not be picked up at all ,there are a few owners who don't care too much about others think, and Al Davis is one of them ,you have Dan Snyder, and Jerry Jones, and the Boys aren't interested.Vicks agent is going to earn his money trying to get him signed.

GoODell is obvious  making this a personal thing,he's a smart man he reinstated Vick but he could care less if hes signed or not,and hes doing everything in his power to punish Mike again.Like I said in a earlier blog,he's playing a scorned daddy whose son lied to him and he going to show them by punishing them.

IS it too much Money for CASSEL....not if there is patience

Tuesday, July 14, 2009, 04:54 PM EST [NFL]

63 million with 28 million guaranteed those are the numbers, but every fan and the coach included should understand this is KC and not New England, the supporting cast is totally different in NE than it is in  KC .If the Chiefs practice patience this could be money well spent. The offensive line should be stronger  this year and some of the young players who played last year should be better this year.Ahealthy Larry Johnson, a maturing Dwayne Bowe, now the line has to keep Matt upright, and there should be some improvement but once again patience is the key here.

Look to 2010 for the Chiefs to really contend for a playoff berth. The GM will try to take his time and use the same blue print he used in NE for success.Cassel had one year ,and he hit the lottery but if he stinks it up they can always cut him and eat 28 million,he probably wont see the whole 63 million anyway.

This is a good start the qb position is the most vital ,and stability is the key so KC is headed in the right direction but dont expect 9 or 10 wins in 2009.

A Ray of Sunshine In Clipper Land

Tuesday, July 14, 2009, 09:26 AM EST [NBA]

Usually i pay no attention to summer league basketball, but Blake Griffin impressed me ,not because he was so dominant, but because you can tell he puts in the work and he has a drive that is Kevin Garnet like. Now with rumors circulating that Iverson is comming to town there generating a nice buzz. Now if they get Iverson they still wont win anything significant, but for a team thats been in the dumps for so long there moving in the right direction. The Clips also have some pieces to move as far as trades so there future looks sunny.a 8th seed should have them playing in May if not then Mike Dunleavy should be fired.
