I'm reading about some of these players who participated in summer league play and now I'm asking myself,why,most of these rookies and journey men are going to flame out ,once the real season starts. Every year you have 5 or six rookies that play well the other 50 wet there pants because the competition is so fantastic,nothing they ever seen at the AAU tournament,or even the NCAA tournament, Bayless scoring at will ,in a summer league game , well he SHOULD BE BLOWING UP against NBA scrubs,d-league players,rappers,didn't R.Kelly play in a summer league back in the day I know he played in one of them summer leagues,  ,this isn't really news ,there are players in every city ,in the parks who can compete in the summer league ,it isn't a diss,it's the truth.Harold Minor ,Walter Berry ,Ed O Bannon were good players in the summer leagues.Now the story  is when a player can't handle the summer league and he's a top pick THATS NEWS.O.J. 4.TONY ROMO,good qb,but so far all stats and no big wins,as in playoff victories,he's labeled a choke artist,but i sure love wtatching him play

5.CARSON PALMER,substance,substance,great qb,with obvious weapons,TJ,and CJ ,

6.BEN ROETHLISBERGER,throwback qb,super bowl winner,great player

7.JOHN KITNA,don't laugh he can play,over 4000 yards passing,takes alot of hits and he gets up and competes,his team just stinks

8.DREW BREES,can flat out play,not a big guy but has a big arm,

9.DONOVAN MCNABB,check his resume he isn't pretty,but he does more with suspect talent on offense,than any other qb in the league,Kevin Curtis is there star reciever,enough said

 Matt ,Matt,what were you thinking your in public doing,cocaine,and in all places Ark,see Matt you have not got the memo,you want to do drugs do them in your home like the rest of the players who partake in drugs,and don't get busted.Your in the middle of the street,and you didn't even look around to see who was watching you,see Matt the police already ran your plates when you got in your truck,they new they had a big fish when they ran up on your truck to collar you.That 4.3 speed you got,wasn't fast enough to stash the drugs lying on the front seat.This is unfortunate because Sherrif Goodell is going to drop the hammer on you for at least 4 to 6 games ,then your going to have to kick your habit because your going to be tested once aweek for the rest of your career.They test TO on the regular and he never got busted for doing drugs ,he missed a function,and the league couldn't get in contact with him because of a phone snafu.Travis Henry,his career is over,and in a few years he will have all kinds of child support problems,then the bankruptcy will come,all this over some Weed,the power of drugs,these guys come from humble beginnings,but they forget how hard and how broke they were,they also act like this money is going to come to them for the rest of there life.THEY DO NOT RESPECT THERE JOBS,so good riddence to Travis, and Matt i hope you can kick this habit you have ,i would call it a habit,if you can't wait to get home to do your drugs like the rest of the players that partake in drug usuage.Don't get it twisted the NFL, the League will do whatever it takes to look good and keep that billion comming in,so Goodell has to come down hard on these violaters,there expendable anyway,Fox,Espn,Cbs,they won't tolerate too much foolishness,they also have a investment to protect.So MATT and TRAVIS good luck.

Im sure if it doesn't work out ,there are trucking jobs available ,just check the Sunday paper,the pay isn't that good but it's a job,and for the most part, you work by yourself,so there is a semblence of freedom,and the drug testing isn't as strenuous as the NFL.

Ladainian Tomlinson.a no brainer his body of work of over the last 5 years speaks volumes about the kind of player he is .He needs no preseason practice to be dominant,

Adrian Peterson,look for him to have a even bigger year,than last  if they get something out of Jackson ,and the passing game.

 Larry Johnson when healthy is a workforce back,who is just as effective in the 4th quarter,as he is in the 1st quarter.

Stephen Jackson,is a big back who can catch the ball,and for a big guy has break away speed,in 2006 when he was healthy,his numbers were off the charts.

Maurice Jones Drew,if he didn't split time with Fred Taylor he would be a 1500 yard back ,50 reception,a  threat on kick offs returns,he is one of the strongest runners to come along in a while.

Brian Westbrook,great runner,great reciever,a threat to take it to the house every time he touches it,and plays hurt most of the time.Theres no   question about his toughness,he would be better if the eagles had a big play threat to stretch field.

Frank Gore enjoy him now because his running style ,is more Earl CAMPBELL than Barry Sanders, he wont be around long with the terrible offense he plays in in San Fran,he's always has been injury prone.

Clinton Portis,good back with still enough of break away speed, to go 60 yards on any carry,he should be better with the emerging Jason Campbell at qb,and a inventive offensive mind as head coach.

Willie Parker,lights out speed when healthy,a threat to to go house to house every time he touches it and he looks that way when he carries it.

Fred Taylor still effective still good for thousand yard seasons at 33 years old,still has break away speed.Very underrated. 10B. Joseph Addai
