    Cloutier to Los Angeles!

CKNW radio in Vancouver is reporting the Canucks have completed a deal shipping goaltender Dan Cloutier to the Los Angeles Kings for a second round pick in 2007 and a conditional pick in 2009. In essence, this was a straightforward salary dump but I continue to be impressed with the moves Canucks GM Dave Nonis has made over the past three weeks. Landing one of the league's elite goalies in Roberto Luongo whilst shipping out the baggage that was Todd Bertuzzi. Losing Ed Jovanovski but signing a more defensively sound blueliner in local boy Willie Mitchell. Re-signing the Sedins. Now this, moving a goalie with a $2.55 million contract and a rep for being a playoff sieve thus freeing up valuable cap space. He no longer "No No Nonis".
