I knew it! I knew it! I knew it! Jimmie Johnson's car and Gordon's COT failed inspection. They fit the template for the COT but it was found that cheating had been going on in the area between the template bars. The 24 and 48 will not be allowed to practice or qualify today. They will start dead last at Infineon on Sunday. If they can fix the cars to pass inspection today, they will be allowed to practice tomorrow. Any further penalties will be assessed on Tuesday or Wednesday. It seems that today is the first day NASCAR caught the infraction! This should be interesting in seeing what punishment the Hendricks team recieves.

HOW TO INSTALL A HOME SECURITY SYSTEM IN THE SOUTH  

        1. Go to a second-hand store and buy a pair of men's
                used size 14-16 work boots.


       2. Place them on your front porch, along with a copy of
                Guns & Ammo Magazine.


       3. Put a few giant dog dishes next to the boots and
                magazines.


       4. Leave a note on your door that reads:


Hey Bubba, Big Jim, Duke and Slim, I went for more ammunition.  Back in an hour. Don't mess with the pit bulls-- they attacked the mailman this morning and messed him up real bad. I don't think Killer took part in it but it was hard to tell from all the blood. Anyway, I locked all four of 'em in the house. Better wait outside.  Cooter"

Fox's final broadcast will take place Monday at noon instead of today. As you all know, NASCAR fans usually find something to gripe about the people who broadcast our races and I am no different. But I must admit that Fox has always been my favorite. For good reason, and it's not that I like Darryl Waltrip.

Unlike the other broadcasters, I have noticed that Fox LISTENS to the fans gripes and tries their best to rectify it. No, they can't make everyone happy but they DO try and they DO listen. I don't see where a person can ask for much more.

Unlike the other broadcasters, the Fox Network started showing us the debris for cautions whenever they could. They have cut in commercials for something happening at the track. They listened to the fans and have given great broadcasts. I'd like to thank them and let them know they WILL be missed. So Fox...thank you. Till the 500 when we shall meet again!
