Who has been guarding LBJ in practice day after day? Who gets assigned to guard Bryant when the Lakers where in town?  Former Cavs swingman Ira Newble has weighed in on the LBJ v Kobe debate with his opinion.

First quote" You know what? Kobe's better, and if you ask Lebron , he'll tell you that Kobe's better".  Newble cited Kobe's "tenacity for the game" and his superior defense.

It suprised me that Newble was so willing to give that quote. He is only with the team on a 10 day contract (to fill that xtra defense role which means that Ariza is not healing well).  I am actually surprised he took the Lakers 10 day offer, I would think Cleveland would of offered him a better deal.

Sorry, when I saw this in the paper this morning, I could think of no more perfect fodder for these boards.
