    Tony the Tiger!

Wednesday, May 31, 2006, 01:42 AM EST [NASCAR Chase for the Champ]

    The Obvious

    1. Tony Stewart is tougher then any present race car driver (.)

    2. Tony is hurting bad right now.

    3. Joe Gibbs has seen some tough guys play for him hurt before, no doubt.

    4. None of them were on his dime.

    5. None of them were Tony Smoke Stewart, who has a consecutive championship just a few more miles away from him. Then, just a few more miles after that.

    6. Joe Gibbs will let Tony start in Dover, for the points alone, then replace him for the remainder of the race.

    7. Smoke will start the race.

    The Not So Obvious

    8. Smoke will finish the race.

    9. Smoke will post a top 5, if not a win.

    10. Everyone will begin to say, "I told you so!"

Ok, I'm sure this is a good time for someone to say, "put your money where your mouth is." Gladly! Can you imagine what odds we will see from Vegas this week? It would be worth your poker winnings to put it down on what most people will call an underdog. But I'm one of many others to say; Stewart will never be an underdog. A sure bet. A fractured shoulder, who cares? Smoke doesn't. It is the toughest track on driver's bodies, as far as g-force, and the toughest injury for a driver, but Tony is the toughest driver in the world at the present time. And at this week in Dover, he will be the toughest still. AND it is HIS car, (and championship.) Well, Joe Gibbs will spend this week trying to convince us otherwise.
