Hey NFL Fans,,,    I just can't believe the spin on this story in the media. They haven't a clue.

What GM goes out and runs a Hall of Fame player off by drafting a #1 in his position, some five or more years ago...  Ted the nice guy Thompson, decieded to make a name for himself..  His first official Packer Draft Pick the best player available.  A.Rodgers..  My goodness a QB from California leading the Packers on the "Frozen Tundra"???  NOTTT!!!!!   "Were done with the Iron Man of the NFL".  Thats what Ted was sayin with his pick.   The QB that leads the league in consecutive starts.  A  fantasy name whom is still in the top five of NFL QBs come fantasy draft day later this month.. 

This is just un-believable how ignorant the national press right along with the local Green Bay Press has been with this story.  Trust me, Favre is no angel.  His Offensive Line can't stand him.  I've verified that.  But he is a football player.   A player that knows how to win!   Yes, he has an ego and yes he plays the media as good or better than M.J. did in the BULLs Glory days.  Hey people wake up!!!!!   This is America!!!  If ya want to un-retire you can do it!!!!!   I think Ted forgot about that and just wants everyone to feel sorry for him and side with him for making such a BOZO  draft  pick to begin  his Packer GM career.  That is when this conflict began...   Honestly does anyone think that Favre's consecutive games played record will ever be touched by anyone??    NOTTT!!  Let alone a QB...  Thompson blew the Packer's pocket book on Rodgers when the Pack needed defense badley.  I said  badley.   I'll never forget it...     I'm a PACKER Share Holder and I say " Let Favre play" !    TED just come out and apologize to Packer Nation for your first round stupidity some five years ago... 

PS:  Does anyone honestly believe Rodgers can answer the bell for more than two or three games before he goes now with an ouchy?????  I don't.    Better get Favre while we can. One more season and a shot at the Super Bowl..  Keep in mind Favre didn't lose that NFC Championship game..   The Packers should have never been in Overtime and everyone knows it.

PSS:  Aside from your first pick TED.....  You've done a great job....  I just wished someone would have said we were in rebuild mode ahead of you taking the dog gone job... GEE WHIZ!!!!!

PSSS:  What an insult by the PACKER front office offering Favre 20-25 million bucks over some ten years for our Packer leader to just go away....   Ted Thompson continues to insult  beyond belief.  Favre would have been a sucker to have accepted,but as you all must know by now Brett just wants to play for the Packers.   BACK OFF FRONT OFFICE!!!!!!!!!!!

Dear DTV Satelite FSN647 MW Cardinal Fans,

   I recieved this email (below) from Direct TV today.  THURSDAY..  I'm not clear where DISH is on this event at this time..  But, we did recieve the Wednesday noon Pirate game intact....    61853 ZIP   In the middle of the I74 corridor..  ILLINOIS... & the CUB/CARDINAL cross-roads or maybe battlegrounds.        I certainly hope all that were initially affected have been re-instated to their Cardinal game service, but I have no way of telling at this time..  I'm not aware of any press-releases..  Please post or forward if ya have one..     Thanks to all who particpated in sending the message to all of the parties involved... DTV FSN MLB etc.. Sure wish we had some names...  This cannot be allowed to happen again...     But, for now I know I'm a much happier camper and life is good.       Sincerely,     SJDBarney1        Now GO CARDINALS!!!!!!!

Earlier this month we made some changes to our MLB coverage that left some fans unable to see their favorite teams. Well, after hearing the feedback of baseball fans like you, we have made some adjustments that will let you see the Cardinals on FSN Midwest channel 647.

The WEDNESDAY 12:10 PM 4/11/07 game vs the Pirates was telecasted on FSN MW with NO "BLACKOUT" on Direct TV in the 61853 ZIP...East Central ILLINOIS. The replay at 7PM is also being telecast with NO "BLACKOUT".....

What does this mean??? I don't know.. I have not been able as of yet to locate any press releases from FSN,DTV,Dish or MLB.... If somebody knows of an official break-through, please post it here under comments... For now guarded optimisim for satelite Cardinal Fans... More later...

PS   Some post boards are suggesting that DTV's Front Office is actually beginning to move on the Satelite Direct TV blackouts imposed by FSN  Midwest.

Well folks, I'm just looking for a solution..... To the Direct TV blackout imposed by SPORT TV GODS at the beginning of this season......  I have had the pleasure of watching the Cardinals on Fox Midwest for countless years now..  All of sudden first pitch Tuesday Nite & the screen goes black....  How rude is that......

 In talking to DTV reps they suggest we are now an out of market  zip code,61853.  Although the DTV website still says we are an in market  zip along with the CUBS & SOX...  Question is if we actually are out of market, then we should be allowed to purchase & see the Cardinals on  "Extra Innings"   That package has been specifically advertised to include all out of market games....But NOTT!   So as it is folks,  the Champaign area on DTV & Dish are completely blacked out from viewing any & all Cardinal games.  Including ESPN games.....

I know Cards fans farther south may not give a care about this,but please your Cardinal brothers & sisters farther north need your political ump to get something done with these 100% black outs....  Its not just here.. There are mega zip codes involved that want nothing to do with CUBisim....  We have no other media outlet solutions here.... Although Insight cable just added MIDWEST to their unaccessable network last season in Champaign.  DTV in March finalized their DTV "EI" deal for seven years & this is the result......(Even MLB TV has us blocked out via internet feed).

I would love to drop my Direct TV....  If our  local  Media Com cable would pick the Cardinals up via MIDWEST, but NOTT!! once again....

We Cardinal Fans are dieing on the CUB Vine up here in BLACKED OUT land.... The cross/roads of the great rivalry....  Solutions,help,suggestions anything to get this back where it was last season....  DTV openly allowed us to continue purchasing these packages with no notification from them to subscribers affected.... I feel completely violated by whom ever instigated this deal....   Whom is it Midwest,Direct TV/DISH or MLB........??? or the CABLE companies??

I'm ready to buy, but no offering to get the CARDINALS.......  This is nothing less than a sick segragation of dedicated Cardinal baseball fans for no apparent reason..   The only message I get is that somebody just doesn't want my money.... Can ya believe it in this day and age??    Technology was supposed to improve our lives, not BLACK US OUT for life...
