Searching for players to claim and upgrade fantasy rosters? Review my Top 10 waiver claims. In addition, here are a few more recommendations at wide receiver. Steve Smith, WR, New York Giants (Available 95.6 percent of FOX Sports leagues) Plaxico Burress has been suspended for Week 5 against Seattle. This likely leaves Smith and Amani Toomer (available 68.6 percent of FOX Sports leagues) to be the main receiving targets for Eli Manning. Smith had his best game of the season in Week 3, catching a team-high seven passes for 60 yards. For this season, Toomer posted his finest fantasy game in Week 2 when he caught six passes for 67 yards and one touchdown. Though the Giants have a Week 4 bye, Smith and Toomer can be valuable claims for owners who have wideouts with Week 5 byes. These include Braylon Edwards, Torry Holt, Jerricho Cotchery and Laveranues Coles. Chansi Stuckey, WR, New York Jets (Available 66.6 percent of FOX Sports leagues) He's scored in each of the first three games with Brett Favre at quarterback. He caught six passes for 42 yards against San Diego. He's a solid waiver claim for those who own wideouts with Week 4 byes. These include Reggie Wayne, Marvin Harrison, Anthony Gonzalez, Calvin Johnson, Roy Williams, Randy Moss and Wes Welker. Bobby Engram, WR, Seattle (Available 55.1 percent of FOX Sports leagues) He and Deion Branch (available 62.3 percent of FOX Sports leagues) are expected to return in Week 5 after Seattle's Week 4 bye. Engram emerged as Seattle's top wideout last seaosn when he had career highs of 94 catches for 1,147 yards and six touchdowns. Branch has been a disappointment but has shown he can be a productive fantasy receiver when he caught 78 passes for 998 yards and five touchdowns in 2005 with New England. Tags:
