The most exciting player in the NFL was not Michael Vick.  It is not now Terrell Owens or Randy Moss.  It is not LaDanien Tomlinson and certainly not this year.  Tom Brady and Peyton Manning are exciting players, but they're not the most exciting.  Vince Young is an up and coming exciting player, but it's not him either.

  The most exciting player in the NFL today and over the last few years has been Antwaan Randle El now of the Washington Redskins.  Not only was Randle El an All-American Quarterback at Indiana University where he competed for the Heisman Trophy, he also played basketball under the Bobby Knight legend.ra

Randle El had the most exciting play in Super XL becoming the first wide receiver to throw a touchdown pass when he connected with Hines Ward on a 43-yard fake reverse.  He was a devastating and key ingredient to the Steelors Super Bowl year.

Unfortunately, he now plays for the Washington Redskins, a team that is all mixed up from the top down.  Watching the Skins give away a game to the limping Giants and inconsistent Eli Manning yesterday was pretty pitiful.

Randle El was awesome.
