    NFL Quarterback Change

Thursday, November 6, 2008, 07:09 PM EST [NFL]

Finally, the Notre Dame boy gets a chance to start! For ND fans like me, this is great. On the Browns side, I think it's good too. I think Brady Quinn will stay as QB over Derek Anderson after this week because Brady will play just like he did at Notre Dame:Consistent, smart, and solid.

    Big NBA Trade

Monday, November 3, 2008, 03:32 PM EST [General]

A big NBA trade was announced at about 12:30 PM today, and it's a big one. The Denver Nuggets have agreed to trade Allen Iverson to the Detroit Pistons for Chauncey Billups and Antonio McDyess. This is a huge trade for the NBA, I'm surprised it happened so early in the season. As you know, A.I. was traded two years ago to the Nuggets. So Iverson is moving twice in 3 years. The Pistons offered this trade, which really shocks me. I think the Nuggets are getting a huge steal. First of all, Chauncey is the star and leader of Detroit. They want to give him away? For Iverson? Iverson is still a good points-assists guy, but he is not a reliable 3-point shooter like Billups. He is also past his prime. Billups is in it. I think Detroit's GM messed up. Denver is now definitely in the playoffs and Detroit is now a 5th to 8th seed. That's how valuable Billups was. Add McDyess in the trade too, and Denver's solid.

    Alabama Number One In Polls

Sunday, November 2, 2008, 07:01 PM EST [General]

All right, Bama is number 1 in the college football polls. Though they are on a roll, I say Texas Tech should get the number 1 spot. They have the best quarterback in the game. Graham Harrell has 3,621 passing yards, 30 touchdown passes and only 5 picks. The years's not even over yet. They also have one of the best wide recievers, Michael Crabtree (15 TD catches). They also have a solid defense and a rushing duo, Baron Batch and Shannon Woods, that showed v.s. Texas that the Red Raiders can run too. They upset the number one team and outplayed them. So don't listen to a computer America. Listen to a human with the stats to back himself up.

    Manny To the Yankees?

Sunday, November 2, 2008, 06:44 PM EST [General]

A recent report has the Yankees offering big money to Manny Ramirez to play right field in 2009 and beyond. As a Red Sox fan, I think that this is the most disturbing possibility imagineable. If Varitek goes to the Yanks, it will be disturbing but funny watching him strike out against us. If Sean Casey goes to the Yanks, I don't care. But the thought of Manny going to the Yankees, working his butt off, and leading them to a World Series title sends shivers up my spine. If C.C. goes there and Manny goes there, they will be favored to win the World Series. And that's a freaky thought. Please Manny, don't go to the Yanks.

    Notre Dame game

Saturday, November 1, 2008, 06:24 PM EST [College Football]

I'm so confused. Why can't our kicker make a field goal when it counts. I was so happy he made the 38-yarder, and then he disappoints all Irish fans by missing the kick in the clutch. Have the punter kick!
