    Not Minor Anymore

Saturday, May 23, 2009, 04:09 PM EST [General]

AAA baseball has always been looked at as boring to many. 1,000 fans are at the park every night, and most of the players aren't easily recognized. You go to eat and catch up with friends. However, the Minnesota Twins have disspelled that notion to many.  Their AAA team, the Rochester Red Wings, have impressive MLB alumni. Last night affirmed that, when Michael Cuddyer, former Red Wing, hit for the cycle v.s. the Brewers. Other alums include:

So here's the big picture. Pay attention to AAA baseball. Because the level of play is excellent and the players in AAA will be winning LCS MVPs, hitting for cycles and winning MVPs and World Series pretty soon.

    College Football Picks

Saturday, December 6, 2008, 10:22 AM EST [General]

Huge day in college football.  Here are my picks:

ACC Championship Game- Boston College beats Virginia Tech. The Hokies will be shut down by BC's amazing defense.

Army-Navy: Navy has the number 1 rushing attack in the nation. They win this one by a rout.

Big 12 Championship Game- Oklahoma beats Missouri in a rout. Sam Bradford will pick apart Missouri's weak defense.

USF v.s. West Virginia- West Virginia will have the momentum both before and during the game on senior night. Pat White will have the game of his life.

Pittsburgh v.s. UCONN- LeSean McCoy, the Panthers running back, will have the impact on this one. Pitt wins a close one.

SEC Championship Game- Tim Tebow makes the difference here. It will be very close. Gators in overtime is my prediction.

Sit back and relax, folks. It'll be a great day.

    Thanksgiving Snoozers

Wednesday, November 26, 2008, 04:34 PM EST [General]

I can't believe how boring the football will be tomorrow.  The matchups stink.  Here's the games I want to see, staying with tradition.

Bengals v.s. Lions- Two bad teams equal a close game.

Patriots v.s. Cowboys- That would be a great game

Falcons v.s. Eagles- Matt Ryan's showcase oppurtunity

                    How cool would this be?

    2010 LeBron talk

Wednesday, November 26, 2008, 04:30 PM EST [General]

There is so much hype surrounding LeBron James and July 1st, 2010. He will become a free agent on that date. So many people are wondering where he'll go, is he going to the Knicks, etc.  Here's a thought: So what? Now America is talking about this instead of a better conversation: Why would LeBron go? He can get a ring in Cleveland once the Celtics Big Three dynasty end. Why would he want to go to a losing team with dysfunctional players? So ESPN, wait until 2010. Because the Cavs will have 150 regular season games until then with LeBron.
