[World Cup]
Ever wondered why Zanzibar or Tibet never took part in a World Cup qualification? They can't because they are not recognized by the United Nations.
That doesn't mean they can't compete in the sport we all love so much. The, FIFI Wild Cup or The Clash of the Lilliputians held in Hamburg/Germany on the eve of bigger things to come featured six teams from regions not recognized as independent nations by FIFA (and neither by the UN).
Along with Zanzibar and Tibet the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus, Gibraltar and Greenland as well as the host, the Republic of St. Pauli (Hamburg's red light district) participated in the tournament.
