Not surprisingly Luis Scolari makes a ton of changes to his starting XI - eight in all. I wonder if they'll gel and really play for a chance to break into the team.

It has stopped raining at last but the skies still look like they might have a pint or two left in them. The pitch which was a marsh land the other night looks really damp. There should be plenty of slide tackles flying in.

1st Min: Portugal look very spiffy in all white and begin with the swagger of a tip top team.

3rd Min: Poor Switzerland are just awful - they plays pass straightnout of bounds, the movement is non-existent, pub team is a compliment but give the crowd credit -they're still cheering on their lads.

6th Min: Brilliant cross from Quaresma showing Ronny how it's done and Postiga isn't too far away with the header. Back come Switzerland but Ricardo claims the cross with no fuss. Big Phil is about 10 yards away from me - he is scruffy though, no designer suits like the 'Special One' for the Brazilian.

13th Min: There is nothing happening in this match but the crowd are having a great time. The Swiss fans know that this is their last chance to really party and the wave has been flowing around the stadium for at least five minutes.

15th Min: Beharmi with the shot but the Portuguese get the blocks on - it least it was a chance and now the cow bells start up - very festive stuff to liven up a complete rascal.

17th Min: Pepe with a flick and a brilliant reaction stop from Zuberbuhlner who scoops it onto the bar. Now Alves with a free header at the far post and the 'Z' man makes a comfortable save this time. The marking though was non-existent.

22nd Min: Thumping drive by Inler and a great save by Ricardo at ful stretch. Fantastic from Senderos - that was a sensational block after Inler's mistake - Phiippe almost did the  splits - now this is better.

27th Min: Nani with a curling free-kick doesn't test 'Z' man. Yakin meanwhile has picked up a yellow card but he does nearly find Senderos.

29th Min; Ferreira is seriously late on Behrami - dirty sod and he goes in the book. Behrami is in serious trouble and may have busted his ankle or at the very least done some ligament damage. Rubbish free-kick by Yakin as usual but Ricardo muffs it and the produces a wonderful save from Yakin's header from the resulting corner.

33rd Min: Behrami is back on so it wasn't as bad as I first though. Postiga with anothe flashing header and BPS is looking miffed on the Portuguese bench.

35th Min: Postiga is onside by miles and tucks the ball home but the flag is up. Just when will we use replays to get these decisions right because that was horrendous.

41st Min; BPS takes of the villain, Ferriera and goes with three in the back adding an extra body in midfield with Ribeiro.

45th Min: Half-time. This match will live and die with the crowd. They've got to keep the noise level up because when they don't...it's boring.

46th Min: 2nd half starts and Inler has another pop from distance which Ricardo sort of punches away...very unorthodox.

50th Min: C'mon crowd - start making some noise - I can hear the players talking - Switzerland bless them just don't have the horses for this course.

52nd Min: Nani has all day to score and yet somehow contrives to hit the post - a remarkable miss. No wonder he doesn't start.

58th Min: Sharp strike by Quaresma but 'Z' man is up to the task again. This could easily drift into a snoozer.

61st Min: Pepe nearly bundles it into his own net and then Inler who must be dying to score has another crack - Oh joy, excitement at last!

64th Min: Inler is getting closer. His fifth shot skims the outside of the post -  a real fizzing effort. The home support lifts the team and the noise builds. It would be great to see them score.

69th Min: Gooooooooaaaaaaaaaaalllllllllll Hakin Yakin powwers it home after a lovely ball from Derdiyok. They deserve that do the Swiss, they've had a right old go in the last ten minutes.

76th Min: Terrible error by Fernandes lets Quaresma in but he blows what looks like a simple chance. The Swiss are holding, consolidating and if they don't bottle it will get the win.

81st Min: Penalty...Meira takes down Barnetta with a clumsy challenge...Goooooooooooooooaaaaaaalllllllllll, Yakin with his second and does he put it away with authority or what.

86th Min: Yakin off to rapturius applause. He maybe pants at free-kicks but the lad did well tonight with his brace.

90th MIn + 2: Switzerland say goodbye to the Euros in fine style. Portugal lose but it won't bother BPS much as he's rersted all his big guns. Turkey also advance after a thriller against the Czech Republic after being 2-0 down - I told you I fancied them to make some noise. Tomorrow Group B finishes up with a beauty in Vienna.
