    BREAKING NEWS ON MICHAEL VICK

Monday, July 23, 2007, 11:09 AM EST [Breaking News]

I just heard from a reliable source that the federal authorities involved in this case have traced Michael Vick's cell phone records and put him at the scene of dogfights on specific times and dates over the past few years.  Authorities before have commonly used this method in other cases such as murder or kidnapping.

They have also put him on the scene many times at the house in question, the one he said that he "rarely visits".

I got this confidentially and can not reveal my source, but it is credible breaking news on the Michael Vick story.

    Bad Newz for Vick

Tuesday, July 17, 2007, 06:11 PM EST [Atlanta Falcons]

Michael Vick is going to get what is coming to him.  A grand jury just indicted him on federal charges and in my opinion, this could not have worked out better.

People will say that I hate Vick, which is not true.  I just love dogs.

Does Michael Vick believe in karma?  Does he really believe that we don't know he is guilty?  There may not be enough evidence to convict him in the public eye-but the grand jury thinks that there is enough evidence to move forward with an indictment.  Good.

In my mind, and based upon the facts made public, that is enough for me.  Guilty, guilty, guilty.

Throw him in the pit.  Have him drawn and quartered.

How sick is it that you have to train dogs to tear each other apart to prove what a man you are.  You are not a man Mr. Vick, you are a coward.  You take delight in the suffering of animals.

There are those who will defend Michael Vick and his sick enterprises (I'll get to Jonathan Vilma later) but I am ashamed to be apart of the same race as he.  The human race.

We are supposed to be above animal cruelty.  We are supposed to be compassionate to those weaker than us.  We must make this world a better place.

Let the punishment fit the crime-someone should throw Michael Vick in a ring with the dogs he trained and see what happens.  Someone should put Michael Vick on a rape stand, and put it on pay-per-view.

Let me explain myself, I have liberal views on many issues.  Smoke pot.  Watch porn.  Go to strip clubs, I don't care; just leave the weak, the innocent, and the animals alone.

Michael Vick had plenty of opportunities to prove himself on the football field and show his talents to the world, instead, he chose to hide in the shadows and pit innocent and helpless animals against each other in a fight to the death.  That is how he proved his manhood.

What a coward.  What a scumbag.  I don't care if he is convicted or not, I know he knew what was going on, I am not a fool and Mike didn't fool me.

I hope he gets the maximum sentence.  I hope he is banned from football for life.

He should be banned from the human race.  How dare he abuse his position as a prominent sports figure in this way.  He let us all down.  Except maybe O.J.-he must be proud.

I speak for the dogs, and yes, I will take their side over Mr. Vick's any day.

I hope he learns his lesson and I hope he feels the same pain he put those poor innocent animals through.

Oh how I hope he feels their pain.

    The Nightmare before the Dawn

Thursday, July 12, 2007, 05:51 PM EST [General]

Note:  This blog goes out to everyone who ever went to a Jets or Giants home game in East Rutherford, N.J. and had a pre-game experience in parking lot 4-H.  Most notably on the list, it goes out with warm remembrances to Skip, Howard, Parker, Rich, Matt (only on the occasion he knew he was there) Lenny, Rob, Bruce, Rachel, John, Derrick, Rodger, Steve and Balls.  I know I left out quite a large number of my group, but I decided that I would stop at Balls.

It is my sad news to inform you that 4H no longer exists in the parking lot of Giants Stadium-and it may never be back.  Not only is 4H gone, but so are thousands of parking spaces-maybe tens of thousands-all gone.

This is where they are building the new stadium-and they are working on a very large construction site that includes a new 80,000 seat football stadium for the Jets and Giants, a NJ Transit rail line, and a new training facility for the Giants.  All of this is being built right now, so tens of thousands of parking spaces have been eliminated for the stadium and the arena where the Nets and Devils play.

And yet all that looks pretty small when you look beyond it to see Xanadu appearing out of the meadowlands like a giant mountain complete with an indoor skiing facility-something out of a James Bond Movie.

So if you want to park at the Stadium this season you better have a parking permit.  Season ticket holders with as many as 10 tickets can only purchase two permits per game, so they are going to be more rare than my dad's steak.

Options are available besides mass transit as the teams (Jets, Giants) are planning to provide satellite parking on game days somewhere within two miles from the stadium and provide busses to transport attendees to the games.

The upside is that we are getting a new rail line for game day that will connect to Penn Station, LIRR, NJTransit and so on, something that has been missing in the area for too long.  This will bring thousands of fans arriving at the game by train, right to the doorstep of our new complex.  The fans from Long Island won't have to drive nightmarish traffic on Sundays to go to the game.  No more waiting in 1 hour of traffic leaving the stadium.  Gas consumption will be drastically reduced.

There will be new parking spots for the tailgating experience and more things to do around the stadium as well.  I have a sneaking suspicion that there is another announcement on the way, one that will make Atlantic City nervous, but that is for another blog.

Before we get all this, before we get our new stadium, we have to endure a huge mess, the nightmare before the dawn.

    The 2007 New York Jets

Tuesday, July 3, 2007, 11:51 AM EST [General]

The New York Jets have gotten a lot better since my last blog.  The addition of Thomas Jones brings in a mix of great anticipation when you imagine him mixed in with Brian Schottenheimer's offense with all of its diversity, youth, and speed.

Last year, everyone was a first-year player, all rookies under a new regime, learning a new system and creating a new identity for themselves all while believing that they were on their way to better things.

They are not rookies any more, these Jets have been cleared to fly.

After they take care of some business.  They have to work out a deal with Pete Kendall.

Pete is a great player in his position, that's why.

But do not worry; for once again I have a solution.  Treat him as if he were a free agent and pay him what the market would bear.

Normally I would not ask a team to do this, but in all fairness he did take a pay cut for them, so the team should give back a little in this one, special case.

I think that it is the right thing to do, but will it make the team better?  In my opinion yes-having him there make them a better team.

Or, if you prefer you could see him with the Dolphins.

    Jets will stomp the Patriots

Thursday, January 4, 2007, 08:04 PM EST [AFC East]

I find myself in the uncomfortable position of restating myself-mutch like George W.

    We will win.

    We will be victorious.

The Jets against the Pats?  How can we lose?  How can we win?|

The Pats are the favorites, many people have forgotten that Tom Brady (a known whimp) has nothing to root for in this weeks game.

    Been there, done that.

There is no way that he can forget that the hungry, the desirable, the team of destiny will be heading to his town this weekend.

This is not about a new car Tom, it is about destiny.
