Vinatieri a Colt, Peterson a Seahawk and Hutchinson a Viking

Tuesday, March 21, 2006, 05:13 PM EST [Julian Peterson]

Julian Peterson has signed with the Seahawks, which is a huge boost to their D.  He is a phenominal linebacker, and is still young.  When healthy, this guy can be a Pro Bowler each year, and the Seahawks are doing something right if they want to return to the Super Bowl.

However they did do something dumb, they got rid of Pro Bowl offensive Guard Steve Hutchinson.  If they can replace him, they will be fine.  But a guy this good definetly contributed to the success of Alexander and Hasselbeck.  The Vikings were very smart in getting this guy.

THIS JUST IN, the Colts have agreed to a deal in principle with Adam Vinatieri, the kicker for the team which year in and year out screwed the Colts.  Not a bad signing, as Vanderjagt looks to be gone.  Vinatieri won't replace Edgerrin James, but at least they will have a clutch kicker now.  The Pats were dumb to toss a kicker who probably is a reason they won 3 Super Bowls.

And Craig Nall, the backup to Brett Favre, is now a Bill and a wild card in the QB hunt between Losman and Holcomb.  And that changes where Harrington might go.  Nall is alright, but has always been a backup.  I forsee a interesting QB battle in Buffalo.
