Watching TV this past week, and seeing Marion Jones at a press conference in 2004 denying that she ever used steroids and would say you are crazy for even suggesting that she used performance enhancing drugs.  Then seeing the most recent presser where she ate some humble pie and admitted to using performance.  Then she used the most used cop out when she mentioned God.  I was so happy to see her crying face on the TV.

I have zero sympathy for a person who denies using performance enhancing steroids, then come out and want my forgiveness when they admit to using, all I have to say is "Are you really contrit or are you just saying this to make you image a little better?"  Paris Hilton found God when she went to prison.  Do you honestly think she has changed?

Same situation with Michael Vick, who found God after he was caught.  All I want when someone gets caught for doing something wrong that they ask for forgiveness, and not say that they found religion.  Just admit to something you did wrong and say you will try to rehabilitate your image, not ask for gods forgiveness.

Watching athletes eat crow is one of my favorite passtimes, so hopefully when other roid monkeys are caught, they show contrition and don't say they have found the lord.
