Strange things happen everyday.  In the NFL it happens every once in a while.  With the Kevan Everett situation people wil be coming out and speaking out against the NFL and saying that football is bad.

Some are saying it was Everett's technique in tackleing and he put his head down to low.

Let's not hit the panic button right away, and lets look at the situation.  When was the last major spinal cord injury in the NFL, Michael Irvin?  Even Irvin's situation wasn't as bad as the Everett one.  I can't even remember a hit like that ever in the twenty years I have been alive. 

It was a freak accident that happens every so often in the NFL.  This is a league where violent collisions happen every single play.  This type of injury will happen regardless of safety measures instituted by the NFL.

My Thoughts and prayers go out to Kevan and his family.
