After an 8 month layoff we are finally back into the college football season, and may I say it is about time.  I love the pro football game but there is something about college football that makes me feel good everytime I watch a game regardless of who is playing.  Some of the reasons I love college football include:

• The atmosphere that happens at every major college game.  The fans here actually give a damn about their team.
• The way overtime is done is my favorite aspect of the college game.  Going back and forth until one of you doesn't s score is the way overtime should be done in pro football.  Let them have a shoot out until one doesn't score.
• I like that each player on the field isn't really playing for a pay check, they are playing to get that pay day which makes their play a lot more intense and I think makes the game more exciting to watch. 
• I know people criticize the BCS system but i really enjoy, it makes absolutely every game matter and every week if a ranked team loses then they have a tougher shot at the National Title, which makes them play harder and makes the game even more intense.

I just believe that these games are extremely exciting to watch.  If you can, wathc as much college football as you can this year, you will soon see what I mean.

Now for my major conference picks, I don't pick Mid-major conferences because I don't know them and I don't really care:

• ACC Champ - Virginia Tech
• Big 12 Champ - Oklahoma
• SEC Champ - LSU
• Big East - West Virginia
• Big 10 - Michigan
• Pac 10 - USC
• National Title Game - USC vs LSU with USC kicking the snot out of LSU.
