As the clock ticked on the NFL labor talks, everyone had their opinions of the two sides and the principals involved, whether they pushed them public or held them private. In the end, the owners and players realized that the golden goose was planted firmly on the chopping block and hammered down a resolution. Paul Tagliabue saved his best moment for last and will likely ride into the sunset knowing that the economic prosperity will continue unfettered for all involved.
For the fantasy sports community, the signed deal means two very important things. First, there's no fear of a work stoppage and the specter of replacement players or no football at all. With a new coaching staff onboard, can he upend Ciatrick Fason and "The Whizzinator" (yes, Onterrio Smith is back) to become the featured back for the Vikings?
Mike Anderson left Denver for Baltimore, and the Ravens re-upped with former 2,000-yard rusher Jamal Lewis shortly thereafter. What are Brian Billick and Ozzie Newsome thinking with this tandem? Lewis wasn't happy with Taylor horning in on his action last season, so how will he feel about the two-time 1,000-yard rusher joining the fray?
