Well, was anybody else stunned that Bob Stoops goes for a TD in the 1st half on 4th Down of a tied game at the goalline?  What a moron.

Bob Stoops pretty much sealed his teams fate with those goalline decisions.  Its the 1st Half Bob, get the easy points now, then later in the game, go for it if you have to.  It was 7-7.  Go up 10-7 at halftime.  I dont understand that play calling.

I think it is safe to say that OU hadnt played many people with as good a defense all year after last night, or maybe it was just the 1 month worth of preparation that caused the stagnant offense.  Play calling didnt help them either.

Best part of the game, was when Tebow got in the face of #5.  #5 deserved it for talking smack in the first place.  Always better to just keep your mouth shut, then to talk smack.  Let your actions on the field represent your mouth, and not vice versa.

Anybody else notice Barry Switzer give us the "We" comment after the game????  I guess Switzer is still part of the OU team???

Anybody else notice that on that play Percy Harvin re-hurt his ankle, that the OU defender that tackled him, got up and twisted his legand caused the injury?  Why wasnt he ejected for that?  Bad sportsmanship right there.

Anybody else notice that in the 1st Quarter, when Bradfor threw that ball deep and the Florida safety hit the receiver, that the safety hit the receiver before the ball ever got there?  What was up with that?

Anybody else notice that was the 1st game all year where there was no delay of game?  I am use to watching LSU, so I just found it amazing that 2 teams were able to snap a play before 40 seconds ticked off the clock.  Amazing, just amazing.

Overall, it was an entertaining game, even though some of the goalline play calling was down right horrible.  I dont care if your use to scoring 45 points a game.  You take what the other team will give you early in the game.

Congrats to Florida and the SEC for bringing home the bacon once again.  That is called a winning streak!

Ya know, this is the 3rd time in 3 years, that Ohio State has gone to a BCS game.  This year, compared to the other 2 years is the best example of how Ohio State, no matter who they lose to in the regular season will always get the upper hand of getting into a BCS game.

Who did Ohio State beat this year to garner a BCS birth??  Was it USC?  Was it Penn State?  Other then those 2 teams, who did they beat?  Yet they were still ranked in the Top 10 and even leap frogged 1 other team to get into the BCS Fiesta Bowl to play Texas. 

This crap needs to stop.  Just because your name is Ohio State, doesnt make you an automatic BCS bowl team.  Oh sorry, I forgot, yes, it does.  Is Coach Tressel a good coach?  Yeah he is.  But I dont care about how cool that sweter vest is, you dont deserve a BCS game if you cant beat the only 2 real opponents on your schedule during the regular season.  Sorry, that should automatically disqualify you right there.

If there was a playoff, then maybe so, but that would be the Top 16 teams going and inside that you might have a legit shot, but the Elite Top 8???  No way.  Boise State was ranked ahead of Ohio State, even though they lost their bowl game, how do you not take them over a 2 loss Ohio State?

Utah made it.  They were undefeated.  So was Boise State.  How do you rightfully say Utah is worthy of the BCS being undefeated, yet Boise State also undefeated, is not worthy, even while they are ranked higher then Ohio State???  That doesnt make sense.

Maybe next year Ohio State will actually beat someone worthy and be able to play in the BCS again.  If I was a betting man, my money would be on Ohio State playing another BCS bowl game regardless of who they lose to.

Can someone please explain that one to me please.

Meanwhile, OKlahoma gets beat by Texas head-to-head, and Taxes gets shafted because the BCS loves Oklahoma.  Sorry, but the BCS should not be determining what happens inside each conference like that. 

Boise State??  How do they not get to go?  Undefeated, No 8, but instead the BCS hump masters pick OSU.

What an utterly brutal joke.  Did they use K-Y Boise State?  Or just the old fashioned ram it dry?

Sorry.  We got way to much talent on the defense, to be giving up 50 points.  Our offense isnt hurting.  Sure Lee spots teams 7 points a game, but when you can score nearly 40, that 7 shouldnt matter.

LSU is a top football program.  Surely we can get a good DC on our sideline.  We just need 1.  This whole doubling up on the DC, is freaking ridiculous.

Well it is week #3 in college football world, and who would have though Lee Corso and Kirk Herbstreit would still be employeed! 

OSU looks to be sucking wind after that barnburner against Ohio and USC looks poised to play at least 1 ranked team this year in Ohio State in their vaunted effort to claim that the SEC sucks!  Awesomely awesome!

Meanwhile Rich Rodriguez is trying to figure out if he will be employeed come 2009.

ECU is just pasting people on the east coast.  Glad to see Lou Holtz's seed can produce something other then ramblings of a former football coach.  Seriously, if I have to watch another Dr. Lou on ESPN I am going to do a cartwheel off my roof just to ease the pain.  Gotta give Mark May dibs, he gets to laugh at his co-anchor for an hour on national TV as he makes a fool of himself.  Note to ESPN, Lou is overdue.

Fulmer and Tennesses should just not play in week 1, just start the season with a lose and just go from there.

The ACC looks like they are the conference to just mangle this year.  They are the only conference able to claim that they are in a race for 1st to be last.  I think the non-conference teams just made a case for themselves on why conferences are not needed.

We fully expect Joe P to finally give the interview he promised about when he fought for the North in the Civil War and how he was there for Prohibition and the sruggles that ensued.

LSU might get to play a game this year, around November.  Seriously, can we get a game in between hurricanes?  We have the I-Bowl here in town, it wouldnt hurt to play there while South Louisiana and Jim Cantore take another one down the middle.  Jim Cantore, wherever he sets up shop for a hurricane, is not a good place to be.  Did anyone catch him with his Micheal Phelps impersonation during Gustav?  Looks gooooood, real good!  Do we really need ya Jim, standing out in the wind and rain to understand it is a hurricane?

Georgia, nobody likes you.  Who else can win 45-21 and get dropped down a spot b/c USC beat Virginia????  Did I miss where Virginia was an up and coming superpower?

 I guess Nick Saban, after having 20% of his team thrown into jail finally got the rejects he did want.  And man are they good!  They will win the heisman for most perps this year, watch and see!

Charlie Weis finally got a W.  Man Notre Dame is looking awesomely awesome!  I wonder if USC will make that a trump card game for OOC schedule?  Notre Dame stil has a TV deal right? I just thought maybe after draggin one out against San Diego State that maybe the TV station might renig on it???  Here is to hoping??????

 Well college football is finally here.  So lets mangle the ACC, keep OSU in the Top 5,  USC at #1, figure out why Charlie Weis still has a job, and figure out how to create reverse spin on hurricanes!
