    Signs Of Life?

    Week 4

    Chiefs vs Broncos

There are signs of life in Kansas City! Hey Chiefs fans are excited today with the long a waited victory over the Denver Broncos. There are still things that the Chiefs need to work on but all in all the Chiefs played a great game and held their own against the Broncos. With four plus trunovers by the Broncos and the Chiefs capitalized on most of them the Chiefs deserve this victory. Now that we have regain dominance at home let's just hope that we can keep this positive momentum going.

It was good to see Damon Huard back to the Huard that Chiefs fans are use to seeing. He made very wise choices in this game and the line protected him well to give him time to find his receivers. I think no wait I know that this is what the Chiefs need is a veteran quaterback to lead these young guys to victory. Giving Huard the practice time to get to know these young players and vise versa is just what they need.

In closing let's all pray for all the players in the NFL and those that were injuried in todays game and hope for a speedy recovery. They all give us an outlet to our everyday troubles by allowing us to watch and rout for them.

Next week is another opportunity for the Chiefs to get another victory.

    Go Chiefs!

    Slowly losting the Season

Monday, September 22, 2008, 03:13 PM EST [General]

    Week 3

    Chiefs vs. Falcons

Call it youth, inexperince, poor coaching or what you will the Kansas City Chiefs are slowly losing their season again! They say that when a team is going through a rebuilding stage there is bound to be ups and downs. Well this season is definitly a down season for the Chiefs and could quite possiblly be worst than last season. The Chiefs defense still has to many gaps, the offense is lacking leadership and a quaterback that can deliver more than just a victory. My other Chiefs fans and I feel that Clark Hunt needs to hire a new head coach and draft a new "franchise" quaterback in the 2009 NFL draft. The young quaterbacks that the Chiefs currently have are too inexperinced and Damon Huard is reaching the age of retirement. Next week the Chiefs are at home against the Broncos and I'm really hope for a victory. But win or lose I will alway be a Chiefs fan.

    GO Chiefs!

    Inexperience Served Up

    Week 2

    Chiefs vs Raiders

With the Chiefs in a rebuilding stage of their organization and the Raiders lacking talent both these teams are in what could be their worst season yet. But when the two worst teams of the AFC west go head to head one is bound to win. The Raiders massive lost to the Broncos last week exposed their lack of talent. This week the Raiders came in to arrowhead and exposed their inexperience as one of the NFL's youngest teams. This lost to the Raiders is a huge disappointment to the organization and to Chiefs fans. It is a big step backwards and now that the Chiefs have lost Croyle and Huard to injuries who is going to step up and lead this team? Next week is another opportunity for the Chiefs to put a victory in the record books.

    Chiefs vs Pats

    Week 1

    The Chiefs vs The Pats

Week1 was an exciting but not as brutal as most thought it would be. It was a shame to see Tom Brady go out early in the game because if the Chiefs had won they could have proven to everyone that they (The Chiefs) aren't a walk all over team. Even through they are a young team they potentiality have the skills and ability to win against any team. I thought the Chiefs defense played very well against the Pats especially when they (The Pats) had the convert on third downs. The Chiefs offense play the field and clock to the best of their ability and came within one touchdown to tie the game. The season is just under way so don't count the Chiefs out yet!

    Forever A Chiefs Fan!

Tuesday, September 2, 2008, 07:38 PM EST [Kansas City Chiefs]

I became a Chiefs fan back in 1989 when Steve DeBerg was QB. Yes I be the first to admit that the Chiefs have had more upsetting seasons then victiorious seasons. But let's be honest a team of the Chiefs skills and talent can't keep losing forever. In the nineteen years that I've been a Chiefs fan there has been two  players that I was disappointed to see leave. The first and most disappointing was the loss of defensive player Derrick Thomas and second was this years' trade of Jarred Allen. But even with these loses in the history books I am optimistic about this season and believe that this younger rebuilt Chiefs team can win their division. But win or lose I am and will always remain a Chiefs fan.

    Go CHIEFS !
