With the signing of A.Toomer, Matt Cassel, Vrabel, Zack Thomas and many more; With a new head coach, GM, coaching staff has this become the new New Chiefs! Chiefs fans all across the country are hoping so. Will this year be the year the Chiefs return to playoff forum and possible more?

Day 2 of the '09 draft

Sunday, April 26, 2009, 05:56 PM EST [General]

Day two of the '09 draft looks like Scott and Todd are looking to rebuild the defensive line in Kansas City. Which is good we've got to be better at stopping the run game. Other than the few offensive players that we drafted Kansas City and this new era seems to be heading in the right direction. Only trainning camp will tell.

So until trainning camp see you all later.

    Go Chiefs!

    Day 1 of '09 Draft

Saturday, April 25, 2009, 08:18 PM EST [General]

With day one of the '09 draft now complete and with the trade of Kansas City's favorite TE Tony G now in Atlanta. I feel as a Chiefs fan that we did well by drafting a new DE that will hopefully come in and play well and also relieve the absence of DE Jared Allen who we lost to Minnesota.

The Chiefs have managed to to pick up what seems to be many key veteran players prior to the draft and a young QB that could carry this franchise into the future. However I don't feel it's right that Tyler got passed over as starter for Matt, but whatever gets us to the championship game.

Though we only got one pick in the first two rounds of the '09 draft day two has many open opportunities for the Chiefs and I am sure that Scott and Todd have a plan of attack for day two. So Chiefs fans hold on to your seats and tune into tomorrow.

    Go Chiefs!

    Ironic

Saturday, April 18, 2009, 04:53 PM EST [General]

    Ironic isn't it?

How one coach invisions his team over another?

Coach Herm Edwards invisioned the Chiefs as a young viberate, talented team that was to carry the Chiefs franchise into the future of football. So he weeded out the old run down veterans of the team and replaced them with young talent that sadly led the Chiefs to their worse season every. But on the upside of this last season we were competitive and hungry to win.

Enter Coach Todd Hailey; New coach, New vision!

With the 2009 draft just one week away coach Hailey has sent his off season analyzing last season, current players and drafting free unrestricted veteran players to build and carry the Chiefs franchise into the future. With the exception of QB Matt Cassel veteran players are flocking to Kansas City to play for the Chiefs under Coach Hailey and GM Pioli's leadership. Maybe there's something about Todd and Scott that us fans don't know yet? Maybe Todd and Scott really do know the secret to building a winning team! Being that they both have grown up aroung the game.

We'll have to wait and see what happens next week during the draft and training camp!

    GO Chiefs!

Just a little personal note my favorite thing that I learned about Coach Hailey he hates the Raiders!

    All New Chiefs.

Friday, February 6, 2009, 07:17 PM EST [General]

Well Chiefs fans it looks as if all the positions are filled that need to be filled for now until the draft. Now not only are most of the players new blood but so is the head coach, the coaching staff and the GM.

Our new coach has assisted his former team in reaching their dream/goal of making it to the super bowl but came up short of winning it all. Let's hope that with the young talent here in Kansas City he can lead them to a super bowl with a victory.  Our new GM has assisted in his former team reach their dream/goal of making it to the super bowl with three consecutive victories. Together these two guys may turn the Chiefs into the team and organization that Lamar and Clark Hunt knew but never thought they would see come to pass ( yes I know Lamar is gone but I am sure he's watch from heaven).

The next thing us Chiefs fans need to watch for is the players drafted coming in April. Let hope they draft key players we need to plug the gaps on defense, offense and special teams. Our special teams unit really needs to pick it up next season. To many mistakes were made on special teams last season. Games were too close for us to lose and we got to win more games next season.

    GO CHIEFS!
